Great stay

We had a wonderful time at the house. Our kids loved the pool and the tennis court. The property owners are very nice people and we appreciated their hospitality.

Perfect Family Weekend Getaway

My family of four (with a dog) rented this property to get away from the daily grind of sitting in our own home day after day during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was a great decision! We had tons of fun playing in the pool, on the tennis court, and fishing (unsuccessfully) in the lake just outside the property. The owners were welcoming and helpful and the home was well-kept considering it’s lived in full time. It was far bigger than we actually needed, but it allowed two small children to run around play in a new space. The back yard is entirely fenced so it’s great for the dog. Everything we needed like restaurants, stores, and gas stations were within a 10 min drive. We highly recommend!

Highland Village House

This property is amazing with lots of amenities and is well stocked with supplies that the owners are willing to share but there were some expectations from the owners that we were not expecting like chores. We were asked to water plants daily and we had to take care of the pool. Also the owners wanted a meet and greet so they could explain all the quirks of the light switches and such. The deck around the pool is old and we were told not to walk on it barefoot. The owner and other workers were working while we were trying to relax. We did have to speak to him about that. He also came into the home through a side door without permission several times to retrieve his tools and we had to ask him to give us our privacy. There is another house on property where the owners stay while the main house is rented. Overall we had a positive experience.

Lovely home

This is a beautiful home on the lake. Tennis court was first class and pool was very nice Nice hosts too
