Make memories at the Cottages on Osoyoos Lake, a family-friendly, gated community. Warm and inviting, Sandcastle Cottage is the perfect family destination.

A fantastic spot in the complex, where you can walk to everything (pool, hot tubs, gym, playground, beach) in minutes. One of the few Ambrosia plans with an open, airy, true cottage feel.

Our cottage is stocked with all the little things so you can pack less and have an easier stay. A home away from home.

The complex has everything you need for a perfect vacation. Spend the days soaking up sun on the private sandy beach complete with volleyball courts and a small playground. Take a stroll on the paths in the complex or a dip in the heated pool. There’s even a toddler pool for the little ones. At night get cozy by one of the beach fire pits.

Interested in getting out and exploring? The Cottages are minutes away from dozens of local wineries, and popular hiking trails. We are nestled between the towns of Oliver and Osoyoos. Only a fifteen minute drive in either direction to both town centers where you will find local coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores and more.

Very family-friendly cottage with everything you could need for a great holiday. The complex is lovely with a great pool very close by and the private beach only a couple minutes' walk away. Communication with the owner was excellent and I would highly recommend a stay in this cottage.

Wonderful Stay!

This property did not disappoint. The house is very cute and comfortable and very well appointed. Well beyond most rental units, from random condiments to pancake mix, it was so easy to have a very welcoming and comforting stay. This was our first stay at The Cottages and the facility is very lovely. A little bit off the beaten path but easy enough to pop to town for dinners or exploring. We rode our bikes from the property into both Osoyoos and Oliver. Highly recommed this property.

We had a great stay at sandcastle cottage. The location across from the pool and close to the beach was great for our 5 year old girls. The house had everything we needed and lots of toys and activities for the kids!

Lovely, clean and well supplied cottage. Enjoyed sitting out in the screened-in porch with our morning coffee. Great central location for visiting wineries, hiking, biking and visiting family. Relaxing week in the beautiful Southern Okanagan.

Absolutely Amazing family vacation!

This is the best VRBO we’ve stayed at. With 3 young children we really didn’t need to bring anything. There lake house was more than enough space for our families and there was plenty to do for the kids, both inside and outside. The pool is easy to access and the beach right there too! I can’t think of anything to improve on. So happy with this rental, we’ll definitely be back next year!

Wonderful stay

Our families stayed at this property recently and had an amazing time. The house is super clean and we'll maintained throughout. Best of all, it was located steps away from the club house and to the beach which the kids all enjoyed. Long story short, our trip was delayed due to various reasons last year but the owners were very accommodating and worked with me to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Communication was prompt and no issues around. Highly recommended. Thanks again Alicia!

We stayed at Alicia and her husband’s beautiful cottage a few weeks ago in Osoyoos and the moment we stepped into the cottage we felt like we were at home. Everything was so warm and cozy looking and the cottage was so clean and had everything we needed. Throughout our stay our host checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel really welcomed and special. I would rate this cottage a 10/10 and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get away on a nice relaxing vacation where you’ll feel at ease and stress free the whole time. I’ll definitely be back really soon and thank you for the wonderful experience!!

Clean, beautiful with everything you need

This is a lovely home and a great space to have family time with the lake and pool but the home itself was great for relaxing or playing board games after a day outside.. Owners were responsive, thoughtful, and reasonable. We had everything we needed and more. Especially happy to have containers to use to pack snacks to the beach and for left overs. Excellent supplies for the beach including a wagon to tote our gear. It’s the little things. Love that it was so clean. Thank you for a great vacation.

Wonderful family vacation!

We had an excellent stay at The Cottages on Lake Osoyoos. From the minute we booked the cottage, Alicia and Corey were perfect hosts and supported us as we navigated organizing a much needed family holiday with our young adult children during this pandemic. We were so amazed at the beautiful and comfortable setting of their Lakehouse when we arrived in Osoyoos. The house did not disappoint. It was bright, clean, spacious and welcoming. Everything was anticipated for a great holiday from the setting to the 5 min walk to beach to the extras in the house like beach towels, well equipped kitchen with great basic pantry amenities, bbq and even board games! We enjoyed sitting in the screened patio room in the morning for coffee or having a glass of wine and relaxing after a full day in Osoyoos. There is an excellent winery and restaurant at Burrowing Owl 5 mins drive away. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Great beach/cottage vacation

This was our second time at the Cottages on Osoyoos Lake and first time in this house. Location is great, house is well outfitted and Alicia was incredibly helpful, friendly and had great communication. We had 3 kids ages 5 and under with us, and the extent to which the house was prepped for kids was amazing and saved us a lot of packing space! Only complaints were a couple minor maintenance items - the king bed only had a queen sized duvet, had to do a hardware store run to grease most the doors (they woke kids up from naps!), and a good number of the outdoor games had missing pieces or were broken. Also didn't realize there wasn't an extension cord to plug in the EV and the regular cord couldn't reach with no garage access. Small items we worked around, and didn't bother to raise (I'm sure if we did, Alicia would have addressed them!) Definitely would come back to this rental if we choose the Cottages again!
