Make memories at the Cottages on Osoyoos Lake, a family-friendly, gated community. Warm and inviting, Sandcastle Cottage is the perfect family destination.

A fantastic spot in the complex, where you can walk to everything (pool, hot tubs, gym, playground, beach) in minutes. One of the few Ambrosia plans with an open, airy, true cottage feel.

Our cottage is stocked with all the little things so you can pack less and have an easier stay. A home away from home.

The complex has everything you need for a perfect vacation. Spend the days soaking up sun on the private sandy beach complete with volleyball courts and a small playground. Take a stroll on the paths in the complex or a dip in the heated pool. There’s even a toddler pool for the little ones. At night get cozy by one of the beach fire pits.

Interested in getting out and exploring? The Cottages are minutes away from dozens of local wineries, and popular hiking trails. We are nestled between the towns of Oliver and Osoyoos. Only a fifteen minute drive in either direction to both town centers where you will find local coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores and more.

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. It is a beautiful home and was well stocked with everything needed. Although we don’t have small kids, it would be especially great for families with small children. Everything you need and then some. Very close to the pool, which we loved, and a small walk to the beach. Looking forward to a future stay!

Very spacious for a family of 4. Lots of toys , a well stocked kitchen with spices and oils and basic breakfast items. Communication with the host is perfect. The resort itself is very well organized and clean.

The house was perfect for 4 adults and 2 young kids. The beach was a short walk and the pool was even closer. Lots of games for the kids (5&8) puzzles and books to read. Walking into the lake it gets rocky quickly and then weedy and mushy so water shoes are a good thing to pack. The beach is sandy and great place for sand castle building. Bring an umbrella to protect the kids from the sun. A sun tent is at the house for young kids to sit inside and keep the coolers out of the sun. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and we used the bbq daily. We did have to get dishwasher tabs and garbage bags as we were only left with 3 of each for a 7 day stay but Dollarama is only 15 minutes away. Our host was always quick to reply to our questions and concerns. The smoke from the fires was truly awful unfortunately most days. We will reconsider returning to Osoyoos in late June or early July before fire season in the future.

The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and staples. It was spotless when we arrived. Lots of towels and bedding. Beds were comfortable and there were various seating areas. The host was helpful and always available to answer questions. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

We had a great stay at sandcastle cottage. The location across from the pool and close to the beach was great for our 5 year old girls. The house had everything we needed and lots of toys and activities for the kids!
