Great spot! Quiet hideaway perfect for my daughter and I. Easy access to great Marais area.
A very atmospheric studio at the top of a very old le Marais building in a quiet but very central location. Highly recommended despite the 4 flights of stairs.
It was a calm neighbourhood and close to everything we needed. Nice small shops and cafés with walking distance to i. e. Notre Dame. The apartment was as promised and check in was easy. The belltower was a nice touch. We would book it again!
Small studio in great area, in historic building. Clean and adequately stocked.Pleasant and helpful owner. Situated up four flights of stairs. Window overlooking courtyard, lovely wooded beams. Perfect for 2.
I stayed in the studio with my niece for 1 week in April. It was a perfect location; the studio was well equipped and clean. Jean-Marie was very helpful and responsive.
If you’re looking for a quiet place for 1 or 2, with all you need for sleeping and making a quick breakfast before sightseeing around Paris for the day, this is the place! Wonderful old building, as described, allowed an early check in for me, and the location was perfect. A fan would have been nice for the heat, but I survived with the windows open. The top floor location is very quiet with the courtyard facing window. I only heard people coming up the stairs occasionally, but otherwise was able to get great sleep despite being in the busy Marais district.
Had an amazing stay with Jean at Le Marais! Excellent location, wonderful communication with the friendliest host, well appointed, clean and charming apartment! . Affordable given the locationMy husband and I loved our stay!
As it was me and my partners first time in Paris. This was the perfect stay, it gave you the feel of living in Paris within a perfect area. Everything was close or just a train ride away.
Excellent location - very central but quiet in beautiful old building. Lovely cafes, bars, restaurants and shops all nearby.

Nice, small, budget-friendly stay in central Paris, within walking distance to the sights and Metro stations. Very clean. My daughter and I stayed here to explore Paris for our first time and enjoyed the excellant location. Wonderfully quiet for resting after a long day of exploring.
Our stay was great, everything was very accurately advertised. The location in the Marais was by far the most important for us, so having a quaint apartment and sleeping in separate beds was a concession that we were prepared to make. We would stay here again!
Small, quirky but perfect for a weekend stay! Pedro was very helpful when we arrived advising us of local buses etc. Central location walkable to pretty much everywhere. Would definitely recommend:)
This place was small but cozy, exactly as described in the listing. It was a great home base for my daughter and I to spend a week in Paris. The stairs were brutal, especially at the end of a long day, but also added to the charm of the old building.
Jean-Marie was very helpful with everything and the location was ideal. The room is very basic which is what I needed, no frills. It is quite a hike up the steps but for the price it is worth it. I would stay there again in a second.
My 20 year old daughter and her best friend stayed 3 nights! Wonderful location and super helpful owner! They said they were amazing and helpful navigating the girls first trip to Paris
We had a great time staying here! From check in, stay, location-was perfect for me and my daughter to see the city. Public transportation close by to sites. Great food, shopping in this neighborhood. Loved jogging every morning by the Seine. Property was just as posted, very happy.
Host very kind and responsive.
A cute little room, quite suitable for 2 for a short stay, comfy beds and quiet location down a side street yet only minutes from the bustle of The Marais. The owner was helpful and efficient. Shower and plumbing worked well, cooking facilities also enough for a short stay with a table to sit and eat. Would definitely re-visit.

My wife and I grew up in Paris. I was born in this District. We have travelled for several years with my job, El Cairo (Egypt), (3 years), then, 3 years, Washington D.C and a few others countries and we are come back to France. Now, my wife lives with my two sons in Spain and me, i work in Paris, every night, i m policeman, and the journey, i can be with my guests. As my wife is spanish, it was an opportunity for the sons to discover a different lifestyle.I built this apartment as i would like to be but with the character of this District, wood-original floor-it was important to restore it in this historical District, Le Marais-
Why they chose this property
I grew up in this area, i know it perfectly, it changed so quickly, before it was like a village, it s the downtown with these old buildings and the parisians appreciate it so much and each week end, they come to walk on these small streets to feel the past, the authenticity of Paris;
What makes this property unique
