Pine Island is 20 minutes to busier areas of Fort Myers, Sanibel, Cape Coral but if you are interested in staying out of the crowds, there is plenty to do on the island and Matlacha. Pine Island Breeze is a duplex, both sides may be available. Great restaurants. Great fishing! Boat parking. Walking distance of heated community pool, library, museum. Grocery store nearby. No Beach but Great for Fishing/Kayaking

Property very clean, quiet, peaceful. Good communication with host. Only negative is a 1 and 1/2 hour drive to closest beach. Ferry ride available to Cayo Costa (must see) when ferry available. Pine Island is lovely and ideal for fishing and kayaking.
