Explore the abundance of water activities with convenient docks, boat ramps, and rentals, including kayaks, available on the island. Additionally, there are two Freedom Boat Club locations for those seeking maritime adventures.

For beach enthusiasts, ferryboats are readily available to whisk you away to the stunning shores of Captiva, North Captiva, Cabbage Key, and Cayo Costa. While Pine Island itself lacks sandy beaches, it compensates with unparalleled fishing opportunities and easy boat access to explore the surrounding waters. Although Alden Pines Golf Course is currently undergoing restoration following Hurricane "Ian," golf enthusiasts can still enjoy a round at the nearby Coral Oaks Golf Course, just a 20-minute drive away.

Island time is less stressful than zooming around Cape Coral or Ft. Myers. The location of the house on Pine Island is convenient and in a nice neighborhood. The privacy of the house is its greatest plus. The platform bed in the master bedroom is a little low if you have knee problems. A railing to assist in getting in the pool would be helpful. It’s a wonderful vacation place and we plan to go back next year.

Regarding the bed: the platform bed is designed in a more European style, which is typically a bit lower than what you might be used to in the U.S. We understand that this may take some getting used to, especially for guests with knee concerns. As for the pool, we appreciate your suggestion about a railing. At the moment, we’ve chosen not to install one mainly for aesthetic reasons, as we want to preserve the clean and open look of the pool area and the nature of the. Fabulous accommodation

The house was as listed, beautiful, comfortable and roomy. The bed was just right for us and the office was a nice space for our zoom meetings back home. The pool was a dream, we were in it all but one day. Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Angie and Dirk.

Beautiful home!

We loved everything about our stay here. The beautiful, private, palm surrounded pool/lanai area was just lovely. It was even more spectacular at night with the accent lighting on the palms! SueAnn, the property manager gave us a very warm, hospitable welcome and shared lots of helpful info about the area. She was attentive and available throughout our stay. We felt completely at home here. We look forward to coming back again! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us!

Memories for a Lifetime

Found Bokeelia 3 years ago and we fell in love with the area. So many islands and best beaches. The Island House was perfection..location, the house itself was beautiful and everything to make our family feel home and safe. The pool area was fantastic. Such easy access to waterways and boat ramps. We planned The Perfect Cup and Fudge Factory and a gift of several types of fudge was a great surprise upon arrival. Three hurricanes since our last trip and it was remarkable the progress made. We fell in love with Stumpy the local dolphin at Juggs Creek and we got to see him, just special. Definitely a place we will return to..for many years.
