Comfortable modern family home on 8+ acres with large kitchen, cosy living room with tv, piano, klos guitar and ukulele. Game room with ping pong and fooseball. Hot tub on deck, swings of all sorts and 400+ feet of waterfront to explore. There are 2 paddle boards, 1 row boat, 2 single kayaks a double kayak and a canoe to enjoy the bay. We now have a nice pickle ball court for your use. During summer and fall, you can enjoy ripening blackberries, huckleberries, and mulberries. There is a herb garden and mint for fresh mint tea, and you can use vegetables from the garden for cooking. Fall Hazelnuts are also available to gather. It's a race with the squirrels.

Come enjoy the experience of a lifetime in a warm, cozy beachfront property situated on Historic Anderson Island. This unique retreat embodies the spirit of the Pacific Northwest beginning with a beautiful ferry ride. Once on the island, you’ll drive 5-minutes through wooded country roads to a private 8+ acre property with 400+ feet of waterfront, tucked away on Amsterdam Bay. The home itself has been beautifully updated and was designed for a cozy gathering of family or friends. The large deck and hot tub provide unmatched views of the bay while the row boat and paddle boards will give the adventurous an up close and personal wildlife experience. For those looking to cozy up with a good book or show, there is a beautiful living area with large windows and comfortable leather couches. For the cook inside you, enjoy the modern appliances indoors for a savory breakfast, get out the deck grill for a hearty lunch, or build a fire on the beach for a truly authentic outdoor experience.

If the property itself isn’t enough to keep you entertained, Anderson Island is an absolute treasure worth exploring with so many hidden gems scattered throughout.

Visit the quaint island general store and cafe on your way to the property to pick up necessary ingredients and any cravings to make the stay even more enjoyable.

Don’t miss the island swimming hole on Florence Lake for warm days! Make a day out of it by bringing a picnic for the afternoon or go for a quick dip to cool off. Bring along the paddle board or canoe to lengthen the stay and explore the water. The lake has roped off areas for small children, a dock in the middle for the big kids and adults to slide down and jump off. Finish off with a game of sand volleyball. Tan on the sandy beach while the kids swim to their heart’s content and build sandcastles by the lake.

Anderson Island also offers the Riviera Community Club for a unique round of golf. The golf course offers a well-maintained 9-hole golf course along with the Riviera Lakeshore restaurant for a delicious meal afterward. A fun way to take a break and bond together as friends and family.

This island property offers an unmatched, one-of-a-kind Pacific Northwest experience. Get away from the rat race of life and enjoy island living; bring your family and friends to this piece of paradise and leave with priceless memories worth talking about for a lifetime.

Lovely family getaway
We had a lovely stay. Traveling with a toddler, I appreciated that the playground is gated. Our kids had a great time on the playground (better than pictures!), swings all around the property and entertainment options available (foosball, water crafts, volleyballs, so much more!). The house was clean-- so much so that I didn't even feel the need to sanitize upon arrival as I often do in rentals. Our host was very gracious to come and deliver extra dish washer detergent pods. The kitchen is large, with great pots and pans to use (a rarity with rentals!). Two dishwashers is a cook's dream! The soft ice machine was my personal fav in the kitchen. Bring some flavored syrups and make snow cones! A few items to note for planning purposes-- you definitely want to bring all food items with you to the island. Waiting for the ferry can definitely add a decent amount of travel time, but there is ice cream and playgrounds at Steilacoom! The living room at the rental is sunken with a few steps. Overall, the views were amazing, access to water great. The property has plenty of activities onsite-- no need to leave unless you want to go explore other parts of the island. A lovely property and home and we will for sure return. Thank you so much!

The Perfect Family Getaway!
We have stayed at many homes in the Puget Sound and this one by far is our new favorite! The grounds are large and comfortable offering everything a family could want - beach front, grass to play in, gardens and orchards to explore, playground, pickleball and so much more. Our family LOVES to cook and eat meals outside. The kitchen is large with multiple cooking tops, dishwashers, and large counter space. The deck was our favorite place to be! Sometimes the summer heat at other homes on the sound makes it hard to be outside in the afternoon, but the wonderful tree that grows next to the deck here offers amazing shade on the home and deck for every meal and an afternoon nap!

We have had vacation property on Amsterdam bay since 1995. It is the perfect get-a-way from the busy life. Our children have enjoyed beach combing, fishing, boating, tree swing, and helping with the projects we seem to always have available for them. The stars are brighter and the sunsets amazing. It's a little paradise.
