Hale Kai a 2 bedroom condo at the oceans edge overlooking two amazing surf spots our condo is breathtaking for relaxing and listing to the ocean waves and watching the magnificent sunsets! Enjoy coffee in the morning while watching dolphins frolicking and seasonal whales breeching.

With a master bedroom suite with a new Casper mattress overlooking the ocean you can take it all in! An additional bedroom with twin beds that can be made into a king size bed
The pull out couch offers a queen size bed. The condo has an open kitchen attached to a large open great room and a spacious lanai overlook the ocean.

Although we started with a problem getting into the unit, apparently due to Vrbo providing us the wrong door code (and we also later realized that Vrbo also listed the wrong check-out time), the rest of the stay was lovely. As the listing photos show, the view is gorgeous and the furnishings are beautiful. Beach equipment was provided. The unit was cool due to A/C. Our host Terry was accessible by text. We spent most of our time on the lanai, as it was the best part.

Such a beautiful stay

This condo was absolutely perfect. The location was great, the view was unbeatable, the amenities covered every need we could have thought of, and the host was accessible and accommodating. We woke up to the sound of the ocean and drank coffee on the balcony watching the turtles play. After a week of paradise we headed home. My daughter left her earrings on the bedside table and Terry was kind enough to send it to us. Thanks again for a perfect stay!

Lovely unit. Really clean, comfortable. Lots of extras in unit for snorkeling, beach towels, etc. but we dive so had our own gear. Beds are comfy. Location is quiet... Now, for the view. Spectacular. Great patio. Great overall location. And Terry is the best!

Home away from home in Kona!

This property was everything and more than we expected! Of course, the view is the most stunning feature but this condo had everything we needed for a 10 day holiday stay. They had a little tabletop Christmas tree that we enjoyed and a corner palm plant that we decorated with our own twinkle lights to put presents under. The lanai was spacious and had plenty of seating for outdoor dining. There were boogie boards, masks and snorkels, beach chairs and towels and a rolling cooler.The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed as we did some cooking during our stay. We used the outdoor grills several times and it so convenient. The beds were very comfortable and the sliding wall was perfect to have privacy when needed and to expand our inside view as well. There was plenty of parking onsite and it felt very secure. We didn't use the pool but lots of families were enjoying it. The staff I spoke with during our stay were so friendly and helpful. We have been to the Big Island many times but this property has been our favorite. The location was perfect and we walked up to the 4th floor to enjoy the hillside fireworks on New Year's eve. I can't imaging staying anywhere else now!

We have stayed at so many VRBOs that I can’t keep track anymore. This is my favorite. The condo is clean, quiet, and comfortable. I ft out have words to express the awesomeness of the location. Directly outside are beautiful tide pools. Everyone in the family agrees this was the best part of our trip. We saw a turtle leisurely eating breakfast, we saw an eel, we saw pufferfish… and so much more. And we were only here for 2 nights! Amazing.
