Just north of the charming little lakefront town of Harbor Beach a small town, with plenty of options including water front parks with sandy beaches and fishing pier, light house tours , museums, library, movie theater. farmers market, festivals and art fairs seasonally at Murphy's museum grounds every Friday May 24 - Oct 11, from 2-6 PM. Harbor Beach Maritime festivals July 11-14.
A pedestrian bike/walking path just down the street from our home connects everything. There's a Kayak access point at Trescott street pier or you can launch from our beach. Tours of our 1885 light house are available on Saturdays throughout the summer. Museums, library, movie theater. Plus just a short drive to other fun Lake Huron front towns such as Port Hope, Grindstone, Caseville , Port Austin. For more information and things to do check out Harbor Beaches website. You'll have access to the entire space , and grounds all the way to the water. where there's a fire ring on the beach and log seating, you're welcome too safely use at your own risk. there's plenty of wood to collect on the property for use to feed the fire ring.
