While the photos were good they did not do the property justice. The villa exceeded expectations - so comfortable and well appointed. Each bedroom had an en suite which is so nice for a large group. The property managers were amazingly responsive, even helping us book tours and a cooking class ahead of time. If you are looking for the perfect place in Saint-Émilion where you can create memories with family or friends, this is it!
The property and description on VRBO was spot on and even more beautiful than the pictures! It was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was a 5 minute walk to town and surrounded by gorgeous vineyards.

Thank you so much Chris! Can't wait to have you back !
We enjoyed a wonderful week with friends spent within walking distance of many Chateaux and Saint Emilion village. Walking up to sunrise views of the vineyards was amazing.
Spectacular! Exceeded expectations. Rooms were well appointed, beds comfortable. Kitchen met our needs (we just prepped breakfast and brought food in or ate out). Hosts were attentive and great at responding to our requests. Location was fabulous. 5 minute walk from Brunet Gate in Saint Emilion. Had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
This property is a fabulous as it looks on the VRBO site. We stayed for a week in September. It is very close to the charming village of St Emilion- a five minute walk down the lane to the Brunet gate. (For some reason google maps makes it look like a longer walk). The house is situated right in the vineyards of Bergat on a quiet lane around the corner from the large Trotte Ville château. The house is well equipped for a large group w a nice kitchen and plenty of cooking equipment and plates, etc. there is even an extra freezer in the basement. The pool is lovely and it overlooks the vineyards and has lounge chairs and an umbrella. There is also a large laundry room with washer/dryer, drying racks and ironing board. The bedrooms are lovely and each has its own self contained bathroom en suite. There is plenty of room for hanging out on the porch or patio, living rooms and large dining room. The house manager Cathy was superb and answered every question quickly. Note. She only speaks french but we were able to use google translate very easily. She is lovely. I give all these details since there are not too many reviews and I want to clarify the exceptional condition of the home. Thanks for an extraordinary stay in St Emilion!
Great spot. Check in/out process was rough as the person only spoke French but we managed. There is no dryer. Now the listing doesn’t say there is but If your from the US and see that there’s a washer (which there js) don’t assume there’s a dryer or anything to hang your stuff dry from. We did not bring enough clothes to get through the trip without doing wash and it presented a challenge. This was completely self inflicted as I wrongly assumed there was a dryer. I only mention it so that someone else does not make the same mistake. Overall the house was great. With a few adjustments it could easily be a 5 star property. If you VRBO other high end properties plan on supplying a lot of your own house and cooking supplies that you may normally be used to at other properties. Overall we liked the place, would recommend it and would stay at the home again. Cheers
