A uniquely designed home, spacious, beautiful views from every room, located in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to the city to enjoy the sights (11.5 miles) and far enough away to feel like a vacation. Salt water pool, gas grill and fire pit. Previous guests have praised the "spectacular views," "exceptionally clean," "outdoor space and pool are fantastic,'' and "everything you could need is here." Pets welcome.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of downtown Nashville one day and the next day enjoy water sports. Elm Hill Marina (2 miles) and Nashville Shores (5 miles) offer rentals and other activities. You and your friends and family can enjoy a quiet day around the pool and patio area or sitting on the upper deck watching the view and activities of the lake.
Pets are welcome. Owners live next door, unobtrusive but available for any problem or concern. There is a large fenced in yard available for pets to enjoy a romp in safety.

PLEASE NOTE: The pool is NOT heated and may be cool during, or after inclement weather.

Wonderful home for family trip. The pool was wonderful, the house was clean and had everything you could need. Quiet neighborhood close to the zoo, Grand Ole Opry and Geodis Park. The lake views were a bonus.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home for our girls’ trip to Nashville! The house was absolutely perfect for our week-long getaway. It was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home.The location was ideal—just outside of Nashville, so we were close enough to enjoy everything Nashville has to offer while still having a peaceful place to come back to. The pool was definitely a highlight and the perfect place to relax, hang out, and enjoy some downtime together.We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our girls’ trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great place near Nashville!

Was a beautiful home and was surprised by the snacks and food provided. Everything was provided that we needed and was excellent!!! The pool was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay at this home. Using Uber is highly recommended to go into Broadway for sure!!! Thank you for everything!!!

Very comfortable stay! We were able to use pool for our vacation, an added bonus for family with 2 boys! The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Mary and Jim provided breakfast foods, coffee, milk and more! This home was the most comfortable and well stocked vrbo that we have stayed in (our 4th this year). We watched fireworks from the balcony as it looked out over a lake. The homeowners were available if needed but everything was superb!

We had a wonderful stay. The pool was very relaxing. The house was very clean, the owners left lots of goodies, and the location was very convenient to all Nashville has to offer. Well worth the price!

Beautiful, clean home and perfect amount of space for a friends trip! Close enough to uber around but far enough from downtown to feel relaxed and out of the noise. Host was accommodating to our early flight, which was greatly appreciated! Would book this house again in a heartbeat, it really was perfect for visiting Nashville.

Fun and relaxing

Everything was great, the pool was wonderful, I enjoyed it and so did the grands, the owner Jim was very accommodating, made us a pecan pie which was delicious. We would definitely stay again!

Spring break

My family and I stayed here for 5 days while on vacation for spring break. The property was very clean and we enjoyed the heated pool!

We've been on this little cul de sac since 1999. Jim is a Nashville native and I'm from Florida. People seldom leave once they move into this neighborhood. However, our little neighbor "Dee" died in 2015 and we took the opportunity to buy her beloved home. We love our home next door and it suits our needs better but we felt Dee's house was special and a good investment. I used it as an office for my counseling practice for a couple of years and the patients loved it. Many people suggested we offer it as a short-term rental to people vacationing in the area. We've always worked. Jim as an over-the-road truck driver and myself, as a nurse practitioner. We're not ready to completely retire and we enjoy meeting people. It seems like an ideal situation.

Why they chose this property

The owner, an elderly neighbor of many years, died in 2015 and we thought it would be a good investment and a way to control the neighborhood. Our neighbor "Dee" loved her home and was such an wonderful neighbor, we couldn't bear to see someone move in who did not value the house and neighborhood like she did. We've continued her tradition in keeping the house in meticulous shape. I think she'd be proud to know so many people have enjoyed it's beauty and special character.

What makes this property unique

The reaction most people have when they walk in the house is "Wow. It's beautiful." Then as they come further in it's "Wow. What a view." There is a very strong sense of beauty and serenity about the house.
