The living and dining area is open concept and features a stone fireplace, balcony, and large dining table with seating for 6. The penthouse balcony enjoys stunning views of Wilson Peak, the ski area, and magnificent sunsets. The galley style kitchen is equipped with full size appliances and fully appointed with cookware and dishware. The décor of this penthouse condo truly embraces the western mountain setting of Telluride with natural wood, stone and log accents. This home is perfect for a small family or two couples traveling together who want a rustic mountain retreat combined with the comforts the Peaks Resort for their Telluride vacation rental property.

Great property and easy access

The property was perfect for us. Two bedrooms, good size kitchen, dining room, and living room areas. Easy access to food, trails, and gondola. Beautiful sunsets and views of Mt. Wilson.

Spacious and well-located

The property was very comfortable, with plenty of space for a family of 4. It was very clean upon check-in and a daily touch-up/refresh service was included, which was very nice/kept the towels fresh and the beds made! The location is excellent - 5 min walk from room to gondola for our 4 year old. The views of Mt. Wilson, et al., were breathtaking.

A little dark and a bit outdated

This unit needs an update! Its not as nice as the photos lead you to believe....and its lacking in sunlight. The location is great and the service is wonderful! The deck needs some updating as well.

Overall, disappointing

The property was soooooooo dated. No air conditioning. Dirty carpet. The biggest disappointments, however , was the deck or balcony. There might as well not been one. Couldn’t see out unless standing at the edge. Poor drainage - nasty weeds next door. When booking , I was deciding between the Madeline with a balcony overlooking TMV or this property with the balcony over the mountains. The Peaks hotel rooms were iffy on a room with a balcony. We were just disappointed.

Annual Ski Trip

The Peaks is a great ski-in/ski-out location. The ski valet & spa were wonderful. Alteeza restaurant was just average in quality and very overpriced. There is no little store to get snacks, drinks Tylenol etc on property and the coffee shop is only open from 7am to 11am. No ice machines, you have to ask for it to be delivered. The unit, 614, had a bad/stale smell when we checked in. housekeeping did not freshen it up before we checked in and it must have been unoccupied for awhile. We had to get some batteries at the store for the TV remote because they were dead. There is a hole in the bottom corner of the door and you can hear everything that is going on in the hallway. Some of the furniture was torn and worn out. The pillows are VERY uncomfortable so bring your own. Balcony is nasty and only two small rusty chairs to sit on. Steam function in master shower is broken. Contacted the management host via voicemail and text to ask for a late check outing she never responded.Will not rent this unit next time in Telluride.

Great condo needs a bit of love

This is a very comfortable, great condo that could use a little attention. The couch had several rips in it that caused feathers to continually come out all over the floor and a chair in the primary bedroom had several rips as well. We were there in August so needed to have the windows open and there were several tears in the screens which allowed an infestation of moths in the evenings. The management did their best to promptly try to remedy the situation but the screen in the primary bedroom was never fully repaired because it was broken on the wood frame and wouldn't stay in place. There were also weeds all over the patio when we arrived but, again, management promptly sent someone the next day to take care of it. I wish there had been some more attention to these maintenance items before we arrived for our vacation. We were there in August and it was hot--there are plenty of fans and it would mostly cool off in the evenings but stayed hotter than other rentals we have had in Telluride because of the 6th floor location. Otherwise the views are stunning and we loved staying at the Peaks. The location is so convenient, and we used the pool, golf course and tennis which are all such wonderful amenities. The Peaks and condo are also very dog friendly which we loved. I would imagine staying in the condo during ski season would be absolutely ideal! With a little bit of attention to maintenance this condo would get 5 star reviews.

Great spot

Went there with my husband and 2 teens. The Peaks is a great resort, right off the core so easy to walk to everything. The condo was perfect. Well appointed, comfortable, gorgeous views. Julia was incredibly responsive. Given we went during monsoon season and it rained a lot while we were there, it was nice to be able to take advantage of the amenities.

Amazing views and great location!

It was the perfect space for our family - fill kitchen, dining space and living room - plus private bedrooms and bath. I’m not sure you will get a better view than the views from the balcony! Location is fantastic too - easy walk to gondola.
