Retreat to "SidDunes" (OO20), a modern, southern-style beach house on newly redeveloped Jekyll Island. "SidDunes" is walking distance from the Atlantic Ocean in the highly sought-after Ocean Oaks community. Steps away, you will find 2 private boardwalks to the beach and a community pool with a pavilion, fireplace, and kitchen. "SidDunes" house features an open floor plan w/ 3 large porches through idyllic French doors. 3bd, 2.5 bath w/loft. Unwind for an afternoon nap in the hammock on the upstairs screened porch with the sound of the waves in the background. Reconnect with yourself and your loved ones in one of the sitting areas on the porches, backyard swing, or grill area. Feel at peace in the Ocean Oaks community with no stoplights or traffic! Local restaurants, shops, ice cream parlors, and Jekyll Market are just a golf cart ride away. Enjoy sunrise oceanside and sunset marsh side all from one peaceful, beautiful place. Jekyll Island is an outdoor enthusiast's dream! Bike trails galore can be accessed right from the back door. You will never be out of activities with a 12-court public tennis court facility, 4 public golf courses, mini golf, horseback riding, fishing piers and charters, and eco-tours. Summer Waves water park, Tidelands nature center, Historic Jekyll Club Hotel and Wharf, Jekyll Airport, and the Jekyll Harbor Marina, and restaurants are a short bike ride away.

Perfect 4th of July Trip!

Such a beautiful place to stay! Our family enjoyed the perfect 4th of July getaway. It was a beautiful, spacious and clean upon our arrival. We enjoyed the short walk to the pool and beach. It was a convenient location to also walk to Summer Waves water park. Ocean Cottages is a very quiet and relaxing neighborhood. The home is in such an excellent location. We look forward to our next vacation here on Jekyll Island!

Amazing Beach Property

Our stay at this home on Jekyll Island was amazing! It is a VERY short walk to the beach, provided all the amenities (sand toys, chairs umbrellas, etc.) needed for the perfect beach vacation with our two young children. Being close to the beach was so convenient for afternoon naps! The pool was perfect for a day where we had rip tide conditions and couldn't use the beach. The home was very clean, modern decor and had all of the kitchen supplies we could have ever needed. We were very impressed with how quiet it was, and centrally located to everything we wanted to do on Jekyll Island. Would definitely recommend to others!

This was our second stay in the Ocean Oaks neighborhood with our 3 kids and we continue to find it’s the perfect summer sanctuary for our family. Pool 2 min walk away, with the beach just beyond it on the other side of a beautiful, tree lined walkway. This house was great. 3 spacious bedrooms, open floor plan, 2 screened deck / porches, and an outdoor grill & shower. Everything was clean, and the house has all the essential cookware / utensils/ spices / etc. Highly recommend!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful property but the owners need to be a bit more progressive to assist the renter. There were no instructions on how to use the thermostat, for front door lock & the streaming TV was not very convenient. We even missed the Super Bowl because their TV did not provide the proper channels. Hot water never reached the upstairs bathroom sink. Definitely would not stay here again.
