Peaceful getaway 6 mins to downtown! 3 Fireplaces! King on each level!

Welcome to Rustic Comfort!

This is a 4 year old modern cabin that is located just 6 minutes to the shops and restaurants of the historic and charming town of Blue Ridge. There is also tubing, hiking, zip-lining, and apple orchards just minutes away.
At the end of your day of shopping or exploring, you will be ready to head back to this spacious and comfortable cabin. The kitchen is equipped with new appliances, a gas stove, and pots and pans if you want a cozy night in instead of eating at one of the great restaurants in town. There is a farmhouse table that seats 6+ where you can enjoy your meal together. Afterwards, you can go out onto the covered back porch, that spans the length of the cabin, and sit in front of the wood burning fireplace while enjoying the great views of the mountain and the valley below. You can also go downstairs to the rec area and play a game of pool, enjoy some drinks at the bar, and watch your favorite team on the 50" Smart TV. Outside the French doors on this level, you will find a hot tub and firepit. Enjoy a game of Cornhole, looking out at the stars while you relax in the hot tub, or roasting marshmallows around the firepit. When it is time for bed, there is a bedroom and bathroom on all 3 levels. Each bedroom has a king-sized bed with new Serta mattresses , 100% cotton sheets, bedside lamps, and a 43" Smart TV. The upper level has a walk-in tiled shower with a shower head on both ends and a double vanity. The main floor has a walk-in tiled shower with 1 shower head and a double vanity. The downstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combination with a single vanity.
The cabin sits on a hill. The driveway is steep, but we drive up in a Honda Pilot and a Honda Accord without any trouble. I wouldn't recommend low sitting cars or pulling a trailer up the driveway, though. You do not need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up it.
Whether you are enjoying time together playing pool inside Rustic Comfort or outside around the firepit, we hope that you will be very comfortable here and want to come back year after year to enjoy Rustic Comfort and explore all that Blue Ridge has to offer.

UPDATE: In the spring of 2020, we paved more of the driveway. Now 3/4 of the driveway is paved and the remaining 1/4 of the driveway and the parking area are gravel.

Wonderful stay & excellent host

We had a wonderful stay in Blue Ridge. The cabin was perfect for our family weekend - had so much to do at the home and was also very close to downtown restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Everything was Perfect! We loved having all the fire places for the cold days/nights! Beds were super comfortable and plenty of space! The bottom area was a great hangout area with lots of room and everything you need! We came to celebrate the new year with nothing to do but be lazy after the rush of Christmas and we picked the perfect place! We can’t wait to go back!

I’m happy to recommend this gorgeous cabin for your small group or family getaway to Blue Ridge. The small town of Blue Ridge is a jewel, and there are so many properties, it can be difficult to narrow down where you’d like to stay. Having rented dozens of homes, small and large, in the area, I can definitely say this is the very nicest one we’ve ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean, very thoughtfully furnished, and enjoys a gorgeous mountain view with a peaceful porch to view it from.I'm quite particular about the cleanliness of linens, floors, and especially the hot tubs in rentals, and this one didn't disappoint. It was so sparkling clean that I felt just like I was at home.There’s even a completely stocked coffee bar ready for your first cup of morning brew. The unique placement of three King suites – one on each floor – lends privacy you don’t normally see in a house of this size. I can’t say strongly enough how much we look forward to visiting again and hope that you and your party enjoy it as much as we did. I should mention that the location is very close to the little downtown area, although it's very secluded. You'd never guess that shops, restaurants, and grocery stores are only a few convenient miles away.Morning is an excellent communicator and host, so that’s the cherry on top!

Superb Cabin and Location

This was our second stay here and will always return here when available! The location is perfect for quick trips into town but the cabin still feels very private! also the cabin is very comfortable for six adults to sit around and talk!

Cozy Holiday Getaway

We had an amazing time having Christmas at this cabin! The place is much nicer in person and totally exceeded our expectations. This is the best VRBO place we have stayed at. Can’t say enough. Clean, spacious, well equipped, great communication, beautifully decorated. Comfy beds (very important). We would stay there again NO problem. I know I’m not very verbose but its just simple: A GREAT PLACE!

Great location with a view!

This property was very clean. There were wonderful amenities - outdoor hot tub and the fireplaces both indoor and outdoor. It was tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. It was amazing to be so close to downtown Blue Ridge while also having a view and feeling very secluded. We love to hike and were about 10-20 minutes from our favorite trails in the Aska Adventure area. It was a wonderful stay!

Pre Christmas in Blue Ridge

Our third year in a row at this wonderful cabin. Our host has always been very communicative, and we have booked it for next year as well. Fireplace on main level did not work this year, and we did kill 5 wasps but overall everyone was great.
