Old world charm
We had a great stay. Constanza is such a warm and generous host. She's full of good advice. The location can't be beat. It's a thousand-year old building! The suite is quite large and incredibly charming. Just a heads up- I found the A/C very loud and I needed earplugs to sleep, but it didn't affect my husband. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to our friends. Thanks Constanza!
Amazing Siena apartment!
Costanza was a fantastic hostess and we loved her place!1. We would definitely come back again!
Great apartment in an amazing location!
This apartment could not be in a better location and our host could not have been more amazing! The apartment is steps from the Piazza del Campo, which means you are in the center of everything. We were greeting so warmly with a bottle of delicious wine.
The only tiny issue we had was that the floors were dirty, probably a result of the lack of screens on the windows, which is standard in Sienese apartments.
The AC is not central, but there are AC units that can be moved from room to room.
In terms of location and quality of host, this place cannot be beat!
Historic house in heart of Siena
The apartment is in an old town house in the heart of Siena, and full of odd angles, artefacts, character and warmth. Costanza welcomed us and was keen to help throughout our stay, we had no problems at all. For those wanting a modern, minimalist apartment that has the appearance and character of an operating theatre, this might not be the best place, and would be difficult for those with mobility problems. But we loved it, the atmosphere so close to the historic centre being a real bonus. Thanks again Costanza.
Great location just two minutes from the City Center. The property is very roomy with numerous updates. We loved the antiques throughout the apartment. The owner (Constanza) was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend the property!
Location AND a Fireplace
My husband and I have been on day trips to Siena several times but wanted to stay in Siena to get to know it in the evenings and night times. When looking for an apartment, we knew we wanted something very close to Il Campo. Being from south Florida, I wanted a fireplace since we never need one at home! When this apartment popped up, it looked perfect!
The description is accurate and it was wonderful to experience a rustic, Italian apartment in a building that has been in the owner's family for a very long time. The weather was unusually cool so we even got to light the fire a couple of times and sip the wine that our hostess, Costanza provided to us--what a wonderful way to spend the evening after a day of exploring!
On arrival, Costanza greeted us warmly and her son, Giorgio, carried our bags up the stairs to the apartment. We were early for check-in (it was still being cleaned from the last guests) , but Costanza let us leave our luggage, use the bathroom and gave us keys for our return.
The apartment is quite large by European standards, with high ceilings and big windows. The colors are very Tuscan. The washing machine worked quite well for us and the shower water was always hot.
I can't say enough about how much we liked this place. We will certainly be using it again when we return to this area! Thank you, Costanza!
thank you very much! I'm delighted you enjoyed my apartment and I hope that you will come back soon.
Ciao from Siena
The apartment is centrally located near the famous Piazza del Campo and the Cathedral located on a street well equipped with every comfort.
A stone's throw from the bus station to Florence Milan Pisa Bologna Rome ....
10 minutes from the train and bus station.
Siena is a small and delightful, quiet, traffic-free medieval city. You can not enter the ancient walls of the center with the car is ztl there are however parking lots in the center near the apartment I recommend going to visit the site htps: // www. sienaparcheggi. com / for more information. There are also not paid parking spaces but clearly more difficult to find a place.
The car in the city can not be used and it is a pleasure to walk through the picturesque alleys of the center.
If you have a car, I recommend the cheapest parking to come to the city which is about 15 minutes away by bus 1. 50 € or the taxi about 10 € of expense that can take you right to the apartment if you you have luggage. Buses and taxis can be found right in front of the train station.
For parking in the center there are discounts for tourists.
If you take the bus from the station you have to ask for the one to Piazza Gramsci which is the closest stop to the apartment about 10 minutes walk ... very convenient.
The owner Costanza lives in the same building of the apartment and will be happy to help you to solve your every need.
