Beck's Corner is as cute as can be!

Beck’s Corner is as cute as it can be! This charming home offers 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, large yard, central air conditioning, and sleeps up 5 – 6 people with 1 Queen, 1 double (hide-a-bed), and 1 Twin (Rollaway) Bed, and is pet friendly. Located within just a few minutes walk to the Veteran’s Memorial Park which has tennis & basketball courts, pavilion, playground, fishing dock, boat launching area, and is the perfect spot for viewing of the Pony Swim in July. Upon entering the home you will be greeted by a spacious living room, kitchen, and a sunroom in addition to the 1 bedroom and 1 full bath. The large yard offers plenty of space for outdoor play and picnics. We invite you to catch up on some much needed rest &relaxation, and to take time to breathe in the salt air breezes. Owner will allow a maximum of 2 dogs. The owner also reserves the right to park cars on the large lot next to house on Pony Penning ( Wednesday) and again on FRIDAY, the SWIM BACK DAY.

This home has a NO SMOKING policy. We ask that you leave the home in a neat and tidy condition.

2 Dogs are allowed, with a weight limit per dog of 80 pounds. There is $135 added to the base rental rate per pet and is not refundable.

Loved our stay!

This is the second time renting this property and it did not disappoint. Close to the park and dock, biking distance to trails, and big yard to play games, so perfect for our Chincoteague stay!

Great location, quaint home

Great location and quiet. House will remind you of your grandmother's in the 70s but it is super clean and is perfect for a couple. There is a huge amount of property so it was perfect for the dogs.

Simple, clean, great rental!

My family of four loved staying in this little house. It was an excellent location - super close to a great park where the kids played at the playground, we crabbed off the pier, and launched our kayaks to go see the ponies. The house itself is very basic, but served our needs well. Good sized bathroom. Enough room for the beds in the other rooms. Kitchen was stocked with the basics for a short stay. And a great yard to play ball with our dog who also had a great stay! We will absolutely book again!

Sweet and Central

The house was perfectly centralized to the town and the beach. It was the Goldie locks perfect fit for us. Huge yard I wish we could have better taken advantage of. Visited family in Tom’s Cove and it was around the corner. It was incredibly clean when we got there, huge bonus points for us. Having a washer and drier was a life saver. Glad we chose this cute little house. There wasn’t a house number so it did make it hard to find, as we arrived at night. There was the property rental sign in the yard that told us we were in the right spot.

40th Anniversary Fun!

This was our 40th Anniversary and we decided to go to Chincoteague Island. It was a last min decision, and found this property was in the location we desired. It is an older home, but was very clean and a nice kitchen and bath. Very comfortable reclining couch after a day of exploring. The mattress on the bed is a little uncomfortable. But overall, we would rent this house again. Loved the big corner lot, dog friendly and walking distance to the Channel. We loved the town and ate seafood every night! Took a boat tour and got amazing pictures of ponies in front of the light house. Just a perfect vacation! Would love to come back to Beck's Corner!! Thank you Debbie

Cozy cottage

Nice seaside old style cottage. Has almost everything you need for beach trip. Only downer was having to haul linens and towels along a long road trip just for this stop. Given high cleaning fee would expect that amenities.

New mattress needed

Overall, the house was fine and had the space and utilities my husband, myself, and our 14yo pug mix. The decor isn't exactly "romantic," but I'm not counting that against the review here. The central AC worked great. I do have to deduct points, though, for two important factors: 1) That mattress has got to go. I saw other reviews that mentioned it, but thought nothing of it. Neither one of us could stand to sleep on that mattress. The futon was not much more comfortable. By the third night I was sleeping on the couch and he was sleeping on the provided cot. 2) This one is out of the property manager's control, but it still effected our stay. Sand Burs on the property. They are these weird things that get spiky and sticky on the island around the time of year we stayed (late August). Part of the reason we booked the property was the large yard. It proved to be useless bc of the spiky things. We spent an afternoon using tweezers to pull splinters and spikes out of our dogs paw. I felt so bad for him. We put down some cloth from the hardware store in the yard, but it was hard to convince the dog what to do on it. We had to drive him to a dog park on the other end of the island. The location is fine, bc its a 7-mile island so nowhere is really more than a ten minute drive. Debbie was very nice and easy to communicate with. She was very flexible when we decided to add an extra day to our stay. I appreciate her customer service, but probably will book somewhere else in the future.

Clean, quiet lodging

The home was clean. The neighborhood was quiet, yet located just a few blocks from the busier tourist area. The only issue we had was the comfort of the bed. Adequate supplies were provided and it was great having a washer and dryer.

Great place, perfect location!

Family of 4 with younger children - we had a wonderful stay at Beck’s Corner! It’s a cute little place, and was perfect for our family. The location can’t be beat! We could walk to several places and nearly everything else was a 3-4-minute drive away. We look forward to staying again soon! (On a personal preference, the mattress is very soft, so I ended up sharing the futon with my daughter, and my son enjoyed cozying up next to Dad on the big bed! Lol) Thank you for a great stay and a great first visit to Chincoteague!! 😍

Our stay at Beck's Corner

It was just the right size for us, like the updates in the bathroom and the kitchen. I realize you tried to keep it to the original house but I think some more updates would be nice. The location was great to get to everything. We had trouble getting the keys to work in the locks and had to travel back to the office to get assistance with this because we didn't want to break the key off. Updated locks would be great. The floors needed swept when we arrived, we could feel and see dirt on them when we walked around. The fridge smelled really bad of fish, I understand alot of fishing happens on the island, but maybe a small fridge for just fish. We went to use the microwave and it looked like grass or something in it. I don't like to complain or let a bad review but I feel I needed to address these issues. These are just things you don't want to deal with on vacation. We probably won't book again.

Nice place to stay

Very clean, cute place to stay. Nice big yard, you can walk to the park and the dock from this location. Everything worked in the house, didn't even have to contact anyone about anything. Made lots of family memories.

Cute Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Beck’s corner. It was a good location for us as it was within walking distance to where our relatives were staying. I like that it is pet friendly. The place could use a little updating but over all it was clean and comfortable.

Break from the real world!

Everything was perfect. We really enjoyed the location, the size, the new kitchen, just everything. Kids really want to go back, like yesterday. Would definitely look into staying here again.
