Florida getaway!

The Perdido Key beach is so beautiful! It was fun to watch the waves from the deck every am! We love swimming in the gulf, pools, cooking and eating fresh fish!

Perfect family vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! Everything was extremely clean! Perfect location and beach area was not near as crowded as other areas! View from the room was to die for! Would definitely stay here again!

Great Place!

From all aspects our trip was great and the service, location and place was overall awesome! The condition of the room was very good but for sure needs a few finishing touches to go from a 4 star to 5 star in my opinion. My family would stay here again based on our experience.

Nice time in Perdido Key

This was our first time staying in Perdido Key and it was great stay. The condo was a great size and the kitchen was well stocked. I liked having the covered parking for the unit since it was very hot while we were there. We are thinking about returning next year.

Great location

The condo could use a thorough cleaning with new bed spreads, but would definitely stay there again. Loved the location and how there wasn’t a lot of traffic. My boys had the pools to themselves most of week. The size of balcony and the view were wonderful!!!

Overall a great trip. Floor was soaking wet upon arrival and nearly fell. Guess cleaners had just left. Other than a couple of minor aesthetic repairs needed. Great property. Would stay again

Everything was great as for the property and location would stay again. There was lots of confusion with the elevators to the property. And everyone had issues, other guests helped the new ones out.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful time staying here and it was an accurate description to what we got. Great communication, even got in a little early when we arrived, which was very kind to do. I am quite particular with cleanliness and passed my test. It was a comfortable place to stay. The only thing I would recommend changing regarding the condo itself is it could use new faucets in the kitchen and bathroom. The only down falls (nothing to do with the condo) is it was like a wind tunnel by the pool every single day and the outdoor pool was freezing. So we never could use or enjoy but went down to the beach which was beautiful. The indoor pool doors were either broken or very difficult to open, and the elevator was a bit finicky. There was one older lady security guard who was quite the grouch, but everyone else was pleasant..

Our visit was spoiled by the termites swarming inside the unit. They started in the master bath. Horrible!

Excellent location

We rented this unit to supplement the unit we own in the building when we brought our grown children and their children for a family vacation. It was a perfect solution, as there was no way we could have 11 people in a row 3 bedroom condo 😳. The keypad lock was wonderful and the unit was very clean, if dated in its decor. Loved having a covered parking space with the unit. It was very convenient having it in the same building as our unit, so it was used purely for sleeping and showering—made a great getaway for the grown children also 😊

Great getaway on a private beach with beautiful view of the gulf.

The condos here are in great shape and are secure (elevators require passwords, etc.) Several swimming pools to choose from, a private beach, and a volleyball court! We gave the cleanliness a 4 out of 5 stars. The instructions say they rely on previous guests for cleaning some things and their cleaning staff do the rest. In this era of COVID-19, we chose to do some cleaning of our own with wipes. We noticed a modest amount of dirt and sand. It wasn't much, but just made us want to be even more careful in cleaning things on our own. Overall, the place was very clean with a couple of exceptions.

Overall very nice.

We arrived around 2:30 and the office was closed so could not get our parking pass. Came back at 4 and got in the rooms with no problem. Office was still not open. The security guard told us he did not hv the pass either and not to park in the garage or we might be towed or ticketed. So we moved to the regular parking area. I called the mgmt office and they said to park there and put our info in the window. They said owner had problems before with this. They promised to call me back. They never did. We got a warning on the last day. A call to the office said they would take care of it. Next the toilet runs all the time so you hv to flush several times when you use it. The remote was missing in the second bedroom. The broiler does not work on the stove. Not sure if the moldy smell was the large plastic plant in the LR or general area but it was annoying . Sorry for all the complaints. I really did like the stay but thought you should know.

Great location, Good unit, Facility showing age

Location couldn't be better. Right on the water with easy beach access. 2 grocery stores within 1.5 miles, 10 minutes from Orange Beach, AL. The facility is 25 years old and starting to look like it. One of the two elevators was down for our entire stay which made for long waits especially at peak hours. It actually was an advantage to be on the 3rd floor because we could use the stairwell. Fitness center is clean and well equipped. Plenty of utility carts to help with check-in, check-out. The unit was a good size for our family of 4. It had been cleaned and we were given plenty of bath/kitchen towels. The unit has ample dishes, sliver ware and pots/pans. Bring all your own cleaners and dishwasher detergent. Washer & drier work great. This unit looks like it sees a lot of bookings. So, if you go in with that mindset, you'll be fine. The mildew situation in the master shower is pretty rough and several kitchen tiles are held down exclusively by gravity. The "owners" keep their things in the outside storage closet, so if you bring beach chairs/toys/umbrellas, they have to stay outside your front door or in the unit. Upon arrival, go to the office in the central tower to get your parking permit before 4:00pm! Communication with property managers was excellent. Emails and text messages were answered very promptly. All in all, I feel like we experienced exactly what I'd anticipated.

Condition and age of condo for price

Many things in need of replacement and repair! Chair legs broken, lamps and lampshades torn and sockets loose, bedpost broken, floor tiles loose, very old and rusted microwave, all appliances are old. The dryer start button broken when we first got there. The was no screen at all on the balcony except for bedroom screen and that screen had holes and open areas so really if we wanted to feel the ocean breezes, we had to put up with the flies and gnats! The Sink faucet was loose causing water under sink there were many dusty artificial plants not good for dust allergies and clocks that didn’t work. The main shower was moldy and kitchen utensils rusty or old. Disappointed!! In addition we had to leave two days earlier that we planned because of no water!!! So... I feel we were over charged for this place such as it was. We were told by someone who works there at the resort, that the owner hasn’t been there for a long time, obviously!! We would like to request a refund of April 27 -28 because of water! Not sure if we will ever rent from Vbro again if this is the way it is with the owners. Feel like it was misrepresented Thank you

This was our first, but not last, visit to this beautiful resort. The condo was clean, the beds were comfortable and it had all the amenities you need to cook meals -from crockpot, griddle, several pots, pans, skillets. The balcony was large with comfortable seating, but the view was the best. The rental chairs & umbrella were very reasonable & it was a close walk to the beach. The pool was nice & the indoor pool could come in handy.

Situated on 12 acres, Beach Colony resort offers the most beach frontage and landscaped grounds on the Key. Our beach is never crowded and most importantly the condo sits back from the highway so road noise is never an issue.
