Mountain Lodge 307 is a super-cute two-bedroom unit located in the center of Snowshoe Mountain Resort, adjacent to the Ballhooter ski lift and the Village. Thoughtful touches throughout this condo will make you feel right at home. This is the perfect condo for couples or families to relax after a fun day on the slopes. Once you arrive, park in the security-guarded lot and you won’t have to drive again until you are ready to leave. The Village restaurants and shops are only a few steps away! This condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom features one queen sized bed with an en-suite full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom also has a queen sized bed bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and twin on the top. Efficient kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Plus, all of the pots and pans, dishes and utensils you could ever need to prepare your own meals. Cozy living room with a fold-out couch and chair. 42` wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD and stereo in living room. Coin operated laundry facilities are located down the hallway by the elevators.

This was our first time at snowshoe and we absolutely loved it! We loved how easy it was to get to the lifts and loved how easy it was to walk to the village for eating.

Great Location

The location and owner direct communication is great. Loved the ability to walk right out onto the slope and the included onsite parking is a huge plus. On-site management of Mountain Lodge could be greatly improved but that's not the fault of the owner. The lodging was exactly as described, would stay again!

Great place to stay, very quiet!

We traveled to Snowshoe for the mountain biking only to find they ahead a music festival the same weekend. Due to the crowd we were worried about the noise. It was very quiet in the room. Room was comfortable and had all the amenities required. Would stay again.

Spring break getaway

We planned a short trip to Snowshoe. Mountain lodge is aittle older resort but has the amenities that you need. This unit was clean and well stocked. The living room area was a little cramped due to too many chairs and kitchen table. The foosball table was a hit!!

Nice place!

307 was clean and neat but didn’t have AC. Our room was 78 degrees the whole trip. We turned off the heat and it was still super hot in the bedrooms. Otherwise it was a nice place.

Hi Jason! I know, we sometimes get hot when we are there too. But opening the sliding door and the the door to the hallway really gets the air moving! We only have the portable A/C unit hooked up during the summer months.

Enjoyable

As a whole, our family enjoyed our stay here. Yes, Mountain Lodge desperately needs to be updated. But I’m under the impression that they are already working on this. The room is dated and was fairly clean. (Hairs in bathroom and dishes in dishwasher were still dirty) I think the listing should update their pictures as the place has changed some since those photos were taken. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable and had all the amenities we need. Plus the ski in ski out location was great! I would stay here again.

Easy Slope Access

The best aspect is the location - on the side of the building closest to the lift line, top floor, and a few apartments down from the end. Also two minutes to the pizza place and Starbucks. The hosts sent out the best welcome/info package I have ever seen. If you need an affordable ski weekend, this condo fits the bill. However, the building is a dump and needs to be completely refurbished. There are windows to the hallway, so any noise from passersby comes right in - take earplugs. Our bed did not have a blanket and there was no way to get one from housekeeping. Fortunately the rooms were so hot we didn't need one. Furnishings and fixtures are showing their age; couch was actually brown, not the blue in the photo. The floor molding in the bathroom had several layers of dust/grime and the wallpaper was peeling. The TV in the living room did not have a clear picture; and if you want to watch Netflix, bring your computer with a long HDMI cord. Kitchen and living area are a bit cramped; if you have six people it would be a bit awkward. However, all these things are a tradeoff vs the price and location!

True ski out the door which was perfect. The lodge is full of families, and kids everywhere, so if you have young ones, it's a good spot. The room was as described and everything we needed and expected.

When we first walked in I thought they gave us the wrong room but then I realized some furniture was replaced and new decor. Perfect space for my husband and our two young adults males but more then that would have been a tight squeeze. Luckily I travel with Clorox wipes because the toilets were not cleaned and no one ever came to clean them after i went to front desk. Also there was no silverware in drawer and hardly any dishes so we went to store and bought plastic wear and paper plates. Well last night there went to load the few dishes I used into dishwasher and the thing was completely FULL! Note to self always check dishwasher! Also do no recommend going during Covid. All restaurants are pickup only!!! Waited 30 to 45 minutes on hold to order food and had to wait in 20 degree weather to pick it up. Will definitely go back and stay again though.

Family ski trip

We loved staying at mountain lodge. I do feel the lodge itself could use a few updates. But it didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay. The location was perfect. The back sliding door didn’t cooperate with us very well. And the heat was a bit challenging to combat even though the heat was turned off. I would stay here again.

Great ski trip!

Clean apartment. Everything in working condition. Easy check-in and Check-out. Great location, very close to the main trails and lifts, as well as shops and restaurants in the village. The apartment is great for four people. May be a bit tight for six people. Building is a bit old, with dark/dingy hall ways.

Quick family get away.

I had a very good stay at the property with my wife and son. The location, cleanliness and amenities made this a very good stay. The only negative, which i think is a known issues was the challenge with temperature regulation. Even with all thermostats (that we could locate) turned to the lowest levels the temperature was in excess of 75 degrees our first night. The 2nd night we took the advice provided and opened windows in the front and back of the property, but then the wind tunnel sounds made it tough to rest. Again overall our stay was great, but some sort of solution for cooling the space would have made a big difference.

Hi Michael, we understand, we sometime get hot on our visits as well. Mountain Lodge has made great progress in addressing the issue. Trust me, it's way better than it was! Crack the windows and sliding door a bit and shut the hallway door while you sleep. That helps!

Great Location

The perfect place to stay to be close to the slopes. The Mountain Lodge is maybe 50 yards away from the closest slope. The rooms were well kept and the kitchen came stock with every pot and pan youd need.

We are a family of 6 ( 2 adults, 4 kids ages 14, 12, 10 & 7) and this condo was a great fit for us. The two younger kids slept fine on the pullout couch, the 2 older kids had plenty of room in the 2nd bedroom, and my husband and I liked that the master bedroom was closest to the exterior door/outside hallway, to minimize kids being wakened by foot-traffic. Two bathrooms are a must with 6 people. The location of the condo was ideal- 3rd floor, so we weren't subjected to any stomping over our heads, and near the end of one of the wings, so there was minimal foot traffic in the hallway outside. I don't think the physical location within the building can be beat, which was a happy accident. The main lift was about 40 yards from the back exit, which was perfect. It's a short 3 minute walk into the village. Finally, the condo was nicely appointed, comfortable and well stocked with all the necessary items- paper products, kitchen utensils/pots/pans/coffee maker, towels, plenty of towels, and even board games and cards. We didn't spend a lot of time inside, other than when we collapsed in exhaustion at the end of each day (!) but the time we did spend was comfortable.
