Not a relaxing stay
It was a disappointing stay for several reasons:
Dirty cutlery and crockery upon arrival.
No chopping board until we asked for one.
No pans/trays for use in the oven.
Very dirty sun loungers and outdoor chairs which were clearly not cleaned before our arrival and looked like they hadn’t been used for a long time.
No BBQ which upon querying was because insurance does not cover a BBQ even though this is promised in property description.
The person who we were in contact with throughout our stay said she was not responsible for managing the property and seemed frustrated that she was dealing with our queries.
But the worst part of our stay was Thursday and Friday evening. We heard nothing about the events hosted at the venue until arrival when we were told there was a DJ Thursday evening and a Latin dance evening on Friday evening. We assumed that these would both be finished at a reasonable time in the evening. But both events went on well past 1am with incredibly loud music. To make matters worse the speakers were moved between the Thursday to Friday event so that they were immediately the other side of our bedroom wall. The bass was shaking the entire room. This ruined our holiday as we were unable to get to sleep until after the music ended.
We would never recommend staying here because you’re lied to from the property description, you get no sleep Thurs/Fri and the managing of the property is an after thought
