Island of greenery located at the foot of the medieval city and very close to the center. 7 minutes from the city and 10 minutes from the city center.
New accommodation in character house with terrace and fenced garden, independent on the banks of the Aude. Ideal for 4 people: 2 adults and 2 children.
A bed, a bathtub and a high chair are at your disposal if you come with a baby.
The swimming pool is to be shared with the owners.
Linens provided and beds made on arrival.

Fabulous location

The gite is in a perfect location, within easy walking distance of the medieval city and the new city. Plenty of restaurants nearby but beautifully quiet if you want to just escape. There is everything you need in the accommodation and our hosts were so helpful.

We had a lovely week in Carcassonne. Emmanuelle is an excellent host and picked us up from the airport! The property is well appointed and a superb base from which to explore both the old and new town. As it is on an island it was very quiet and peaceful. An easy walk to the station for trips to Narbonne and Limoux. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Great location, set between old and new town with a short walk to both. Clean, bright and spacious accommodation. Host friendly, offered great recommendations for places to eat and makes the most delicious fig jam. A lovely touch finding breakfast essentials for our first morning! Lovely property on island between the two cities, the property has a lovely garden & pool. Only a short walk to either the citadel or the Bastide with bars & restaurants close by.

A lot of difficulties locating the host once we arrived. Otherwise an excellent property. Kitchen had everything necessary for eating in. Bed was comfortable. Lots of suggestions from host about activities in the area. Even though it was October the host opened the pool for us.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in der LAude

Unterhalb der Befestigung von Carcassonne befindet sich die Unterkunft in einem ruhigen Park an der Aude. Ausgehen und Essen gehen kann man zur Fuß in wenigen Minuten. Auch findet man fußläufig einen kleinen Markt für kleinere tägliche Einkäufe. Neben der obligatorischen und sehr sehenswerte Besichtigung der Cité und Bastide bieten sich abwechslungsreiche Radtouren am Canal du Midi sowie lohnende Wanderungen vor Ort sowie in den Montagne Noire an. Die regionale Küche ist empfehlenswert und preislich sehr fair. Die Unterkunft war bestens ausgestattet, so dass es an nichts mangelte. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, so dass wir stets bestens ausgeruht in den Tag starten konnten. Die Vermieter waren stets diskret und hilfsbereit, vielen Dank dafür.

Couldn’t ask for a better location!

This was the perfect beautiful and quiet apartment centrally located to the old city. The old city was surprisingly fun to walk around and beautifully restored along with wonderful food especially cassoulet, So we were very happy to have this location and highly recommend it to explore this gorgeous area. Also the hosts were perfect And everything we needed was there.

Un séjour au top

Avec nos 2 loulous de 3 et 6 ans nous avons séjourné 1 semaine et grâce à l'emplacement de l'hébergement (au pied des remparts), nous avons pu visiter à pied Carcassonne. Nous avons bien profité de la région également. Le gîte est fonctionnel, très confortable et reposant. Merci à Emmanuelle pour son hospitalité. Nous recommandons chaudement cet endroit !
