Centrally located on 20 acres of woods a short drive away from many attractions - Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Frankfort, Crystal Lake, and Crystal Mountain. Grocery Stores, restaurants and a variety of stores and shops are just 3 miles away. The house is 1500 sq. ft with a fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers and bath tubs. There is a finished basement with large screen TV and surround sound. There are several trails through the woods. This is the main house on the property and you will have the house all to yourself, but there are other rentals on the property. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE OTHER RENTALS ON THE PROPERTY. SOME OF THE OUTDOOR SPACES - Garage, Hot tub, woods, yard are all SHARED with other rentals. - NO PETS

Perfect Winter Vacation

Second time staying at this cozy home in the woods. Perfect place to relax and rest after full days on the slopes. Everything is clean and comfortable, and everything you need to cook (or enjoy local takeout) is available in the kitchen. We will be back whenever we ski Crystal!

Cozy stay in Michigan

The property was very spacious. It had plenty of room to accommodate me and my family for the weekend. The house is situated in a private area surrounded by trees, making for a very scenic and quiet escape. We enjoyed the amenities (especially the home theater in the basement) and we had a great time. Would love to come back again!

Early checkin is normally an option. They never asked to check in early. I even sent a message asking what time they were planning to arrive to make sure it was ready for them and they never responded. Feel free to ask if you need to check in early. We do our best to accommodate if anyone asks.

We could not have been happier with our accommodations and our stay at this property just 40 miles from Traverse City. We loved the wooded area and the home was very clean and well cared for. The host quickly responded to my emails with any questions I had for him. It was very welcoming.

Nice house - as advertised

It was a nice house and location. Reality matched the listing. The group enjoyed the hot tub. We really enjoyed the downstairs entertainment space which had a ping pong table, big projector TV, and comfy couches. The host communicated well. There were multiple listings/spaces on the same property, but our group did not have any problems or disturbances with them. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Fantastic Home in the Woods!

Absolutely loved our stay here. The home is large yet cozy, perfect for our family of four to have space to move around, and privacy, while also enjoying family time together. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need. Bathrooms are spacious (water pressure was amazing!). Bedrooms were perfect (everyone slept well!). The living room has a huge couch for everyone to gather and watch tv or play cards. The basement was a total surprise - movie and game room! Lastly, the incredible ice rink was such a hit with our hockey and skating family. Can't wait to visit again! Property manager Scott was easy to communicate with and prompt with responses to questions. Highly recommend!

Great Location

Rental was perfect for kids. The property and house is shared with other rentals on site. The house was spacious and there is a separate upstairs garage apartment that is rented out as well as a camper in the backyard. The hot tub is communal for the guest in the camper and garage apartment. Owner was nice and helpful. They offer other things like kayak and canoes to float with firewood on property for purchase. Great location for the area.

Great for all ages

We were 14 in total, 1 grandma, 6 adults and 7 kids aged 4 to 15. We used the hot tub, the back deck, the trampoline, the hiking path, the basement big screen and several games. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment and we cooked many meals. Everyone was happy with sleeping arrangements. We felt right at home and had a great stay! Thanks, Scott!
