About this property

The condominium Rosal is located in front of the sea in the center of Giardini-Naxos, a place famous and privileged, the epicenter of the Sicilian tourist life.

In the building there are two elevators and private parking on request. The top floor of the building, where are located all our apartments, enjoys a splendid view over the bay of Taormina, the medieval village of Castelmola and Mount Etna. On the ground floor of the building there is a pharmacy, bank, perfume shop, bar. Nearby there are numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, shops, Internet cafes, the touristic harbor and the bus stop to go to the Airport, Taormina and all other tourist places.

The condominium is about 10 meters away from the sea. All central beaches of Giardini-Naxos are located in front of it. The beach with fine sand is available both free of charge or for payment. You can choose between renting sunbeds with umbrella or staying on the sand.

The apartment is located on the top floor of condominium.

The apartment is furnished, air conditioned, spacious and full of light. It consists of three spaces: living room with sleeping area, dining room with open-plan kitchen consolidated with a spacious terrace, bathroom (toilet, bidet, shower). There are 4 sleeping places (2 single beds and 1 double bed). The decor of apartment is complete with everything needed. Available WiFi.

The apartment enjoys amazing panoramic view of 270 degrees over the bay of Giardini-naxos, the sea, Taormina, medieval village of Castelmola and partly over the Mount Etna. Quite impossible to find the apartment with the same view in the whole Giardini-naxos.

The only advantage of this apartment is its location. The owner and manager left us disappointed

Absolutely disgusting.. From arrival until our departure we had one issue after another with our apartment. The owner and manager had no regard for our issues and didn't offer any compensation. Our other unit rented directly from the owner was not even occupied by us and refused refund. The impression of the apartments online compared to there actual state is disgusting and I am not sure how they continue to be rented out.. Our apartment on arrival had no hot water, no gas, a non functional toilet until departure. Excess Mould in bathroom ceiling, a broken door knob, no Tv or antenna to accommodate. I made several complaints to the owner and manager with no action. I wasted 2 days of my 10 day holiday awaiting rectification and maintenance to no avail.. As a property manager this is not acceptable and the owner refused to action anything, compensate or refund. I have photos if required. A complete let down!

No Air Conditioning

I reserved this apartment for 3 nights in July. When we checked in to the apartment it was incredibly hot inside. As we checked in the host turned on the A/C. I specifically asked if the AC in the kitchen was going to cool the entire apartment. I was told yes and that if it didn’t I could open the windows. Maybe if you grow up without AC you could open the windows at night but this is Sicily in July. If you are used to any sort of AC you can’t sleep with that level of heat and humidity. That night it was unbearably hot. We had to sleep in the living room on the sofa so that we could get the slightest bit of relief. We left the next day and the host refused to refund me the money for the second two nights. In reality, the entire amount should have been refunded. If you’re thinking about staying here and going for a quick dip in the water, you can’t. The beach across the street is private. I think it costs like 7 euro maybe more. The ‘private parking’ isn’t private. It’s in a pay lot 300 meters away. We only ate at one restaurant in the area and it was terrible. It was our only bad meal in Sicily. We moved to Taormina and had a much better time. We also had a much better stay in Siracusa. The host that checked us in was very friendly and punctual. I just can’t recommend staying here to anyone unless they add another A/C unit in the bedroom,
