About this property

Beautiful Provencal house

New house type "Provencal Mas" with swimming pool located on the heights of Caunes Minervois in a Mediterranean environment in the heart of 4,000 m2 of oaks and pines.

Our house of 150 m2 includes, on the ground floor, a large living room, toilets, a kitchen and a terrace with barbecue with a beautiful view of the Abbey and the village.
Upstairs are the toilet, the bathroom and 5 bedrooms including 3 children's rooms with a single bed each and 2 bedrooms with a double bed each with one with its private bathroom.
Air conditioning in each room.
WiFi, 2 TVs, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

Close to all amenities: grocery store, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, post office, kindergarten, market, restaurants.
Which will save you from taking the car for a simple wand!

The village is home to a heritage of incredible historical richness; at the corner of the medieval streets you can discover the Benedictine Abbey dating from the XIII century whose bedside is one of the most beautiful of the Languedoc Romance and its careers red marble incarnate which was used under Louis XIV including Versailles.
You will also enjoy its many summer concerts as well as its restaurants and cafes.

We are located 20 km from Carcassonne with its world heritage city, 48 km from Narbonne Plage, 113 km from Toulouse and 109 km from the first ski resort of the Pyrénées Audoises.

Fabienne very helpful, but lucky that we had some French between us! There's always Google translate though! House was lovely and setting very peaceful. The village is great with lots of restaurants, but be aware that some don't open Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Also advisable to book ahead - especially if you arrive on a Saturday and want to eat out. It really is only a 5 minute walk but on arrival you won't think so - the walk back is Ok with just a short sharp stretch at the end. Nothing not to enjoy.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. La villa est parfaite et la localisation permet de profiter des merveilleux environs naturels ainsi que du village où on trouve de très bons produits régionaux. A souligner également, un très bon accueil.

Prima verblijf. Vrbo probeerde ons nog een flinke som extra te laten betalen. Was grote onzin en is opgelost, heeft wel tyd en energie (negatieve)gekost en dat tydens je vakantie. . Ik zal nooit meer via vrbo huren.

Well located relaxing place to stay

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The location is close enough to the town to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants whilst still feeling private. The house is modern and well looked after. The air conditioning was effective and with the shutters kept the house feeling comfortably cool. The pool is very nice, a good size with space around for relaxing. Overall I would recommend the property for families that are looking to explore this area, or just want a relaxing place to stay.

Coup de coeur pour la maison et la région!

La maison est magnifique, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. La piscine est grande et très agréable. Fabienne est disponible et très gentille Tout était parfait et nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Nous avons encore plein de choses à découvrir dans cette très belle région et espérons y retourner rapidement. Merci à Fabienne

Une maison magnifique dans un village et une région qui le sont tout autant !

Il ne manque absolument rien à cette belle demeure parfaitement préparée et entretenue par Fabienne, la propriétaire aussi prévenante que discrète. De plus le village et la région regorgent de merveilles à visiter. Farniente et découvertes, tout est à portée de main. Nous reconnandons vivement. Clarisse et Stéphane.

Refreshing clean pool and air conditioned house. Perfect for a heat wave

The pool was lovely - very clean and a good size. Depth just right too (same depth throughout so that all adults could easily stand on bottom). Air conditioning throughout the house was very welcome in the August heat. Outside there was always an area somewhere of shade. Although at the edge of the town, the trees in the large garden made it feel like the country and it was very peaceful. And just 5 minutes walk into the centre of Caunes Minervois. Also only 30 minute pleasant drive to Carcassone. Would highly recommend for families.
