Fantastic stay!

Great Vacation Rental

This was a well maintained vacation rental with plenty of room for family and friends. Several living spaces and outdoor seating areas made it nice for the kids and adults to hang out separately or together. Just a short walk to the pool, parks, downtown, and amazing sunsets at the lake.

Lovely stay !

We loved our stay at your home in Lakeside ! It was actually much larger in person than on the pics ! So much space ! Each room had air conditioners so that was awesome and we loved all of the furnishings inside and outside ! Pics don't do this place justice. Great place. Great communication !

The Perfect Spot

This was a family vacation with Ohio and California member all my kids and grandkids. The home was lovely and completely met our needs, it was in a perfect location for the younger kids learning to ride their bikes and provided a nice ride down to the lake for our more experienced riders/skateboarders. Ample parking. Loved sitting on the porch. Joe was very easy to communicate with and check in instructions were easy. Would rent this house again when returning to Lakeside.

Beautiful home in resort community

The house was beautiful! Newly furnished and updated, it was the perfect home for me and my sister’s family to vacation. We fit 4 adults and 5 kids in this two story with no problem. Although, no central air conditioning, the individual units worked well at keeping us cool and comfortable. Big front porch was nice for morning coffee. Full size washer and dryer was a plus! Location within Lakeside was perfect right next to quiet gardens and minutes from the waterfront. Communication with the owner was great. We hope to come back!

The Way Life Should Be

The house served us well this year it was clean, and that was nice to have and providing the sheets and towels were a great bonus. We had a couple little glitches with things that just happened and Joe the owner was right on it and replying and getting people out to take care of it. It was a great location if you have kids riding bikes to crafts or the pool or Pickleball and tennis all in the same street. We had plenty of yard still to park and olay ninja game in the evenings. Lakeside has been tradition with our family for over 30 years and it's something that all ages look forward to each summer. Thank you for making your place available. We hope to run it again.

Good Find For LDW

We enjoyed our stay at Joe's place for Labor Day! Pros- close to the pool, great options for parking, (large open space next to house), great communication, and easy check in Cons - Microwave didn't work, a bit of a walk to downtown Lakeside, listing deceiving with number of beds/bedrooms, (The sunroom does not have a separate door FYI), just has a/c window units, not central air so certain parts of house got very warm.

Loving Lakeside

Aside from confusion about the difference between beds and bedrooms the place was great! The neighbors and neighborhood were so helpful and friendly. We were without power for a few hours and hit a snag when we had hoped to use the gas grill and had to run out for charcoal instead. The microwave is glitchy but all the rest of the kitchen was great as was the convenience of the laundry right in the great room (quiet in the closet so it didn't disturb visiting) Extra touches like the ample seating on the decks and even a mini-fridge (which needed a "beginning of the season" wipedown but worked fine) We would be glad to stay again!

Very Nice Home

The one item that should be corrected is that it has listed 4 bunk beds and 3 single beds. There are 2 bunk beds with one on top and one on the bottom. There are no single beds. Very nice place and there is a lot of other beds to sleep 13 people.

This house was beautiful. The location was close to the pool and tennis courts. It was clean and well stocked. The listing needs to be adjusted to day 3 bedrooms instead of 6.

Mother/Daughter Weekend Getaway

This was a wonderful location to get away with friends and our daughters, who are graduating this year. Lakeside is a perfect way to step back in time, disconnect with technology (if you want - though wifi worked great), and enjoy everyone's company. The home was lovely and we did not find ourselves short of any convenience. If you worry about the in-wall air conditioners, don't....they kept the home at a wonderful temperature and we had no issues with it being too warm. Also - if you worry about location as it is not super close to the downtown...don't. The blocks are small and you will arrive at the water after a very short walk. In fact, the walks are wonderful as you get to see cute cottages on the way. A great property we highly recommend!

the house was great , the neighborhood not so much

The house was as described and clean. However, there should be way more description about the Lakeside Community fees. It cost our family another $160 dollars at the gate to keep our cars at rental property and entrance fees for family to enter community where we already paid a lot of money to rent a home there. Also, we couldn't use the Community pool even though I reserved our 2-hour time slot due to Covid-19 but, they said they didn't have our name and we couldn't enter the pool and it was 90 degrees out. Just very disappointing overall. We won't be coming back to this community.

The pool opening was delayed due to the Covid-19 but is open daily now. The workout facility is also open now. With respect to the fees, Lakeside does charge a fee for individuals 25 and over to use all of the amenities which include pool, workout facility, tennis, basketball, putt putt, shuffleboard, volleyball courts and all the other amenities.

Mom-son vacay

This house was amazing and the owners were so incredible. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed this little vacay. Actually stayed home two of three evenings because the house was so welcoming and we were more u retested in catching up with our boys. A special memory.
