Oaks Cottage is located in Northern Cameron Parish and is surrounded by beautiful “Live Oak Trees”. The property is a fully furnished 2 bedroom/1 bathroom cottage just minutes from the famous Big Lake. Sleeps 4 people, has 1,350 square feet living. All linens and utensils provided. Washer/dryer, Central A/C and heat, WiFi and Cable TV where each room has a TV. Large covered front porch with BBQ pit and fire pit. There is plenty of room to park your boats on the property (Fishermen Welcomed). Just 10 minutes from Herbert Camp boat launch. Bird Watchers are welcome to enjoy our paradise along the Creole Nature trail down to Cameron La, a 50 minute drive. You are 15 minutes from Prime Restaurant and Bodega Wine bar and 20 minutes away from the Casinos and upscale restaurants.

Perfect weekend getaway

Me and my husband rented this property for a weekend getaway. It was perfect! Beautiful property, very peaceful and relaxing. The house was so cozy. We loved it! We would definitely rent this place again and will plan on bringing our kids next time to fish!

Beautiful Cottage

The property with the Live Oak Trees is Beautiful, and the home is perfectly cozy. I love the décor of the home and the bed was very comfortable. It has all the accommodations of home, just bring your food. Our host were awesome, very friendly and tentative to answer questions. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful, quiet location.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The property has beautiful live oaks and plenty of wildlife to watch while sitting on the porch. The house had everything we needed, with a Keurig, washer and dryer being the most important amenities for our family. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept on. It is a very easy and rather short drive from Lake Charles. We had never stayed on the eastern side of the lake but we enjoyed exploring the area and finding new places to go crabbing that weren’t crowded. Angela was very quick to respond with any questions. I will definitely keep this cottage on my list of places to stay in the future.

Excellent Space!

We rented this property for a weekend film shoot, and every step of sorting out and utilising the space was impeccable. Angela and Jeffrey were very accommodating and communicative, and the space itself was exactly the lovely look and feel we were searching for. Beautiful piece of Louisiana

Such a beautiful serene spot! Well appointed house with updated decor and thoughtful touches. Porches and patios were well equipped to help us enjoy the gorgeous Louisiana landscape on it’s large lot. Host was more than helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend!!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the cozy cottage. It is EXACTLY as pictured and it is indeed cozy yet spacious. Our trip down south was for the purpose of going crabbing in the Gulf of America and our hosts were kind enough to have a propane burner and pots available to us for boiling our catch. We were able to meet the hosts and enjoyed speaking with such good, down to earth people. The cottage was clean and tidy and had all things available that I would have in my own home to enjoy. We wanted for nothing. We are already talking about planning another trip next summer and we will be working it around the availability of this cottage. Definitely worth the rental!

A place to get away from the noises of city life.

From beginning to end, communication from the owners was great. The place was very well kept. The home was Comfortable and Cozy. It didn’t lack a thing. We just wish we didn’t have to return to reality.

Clean & Cozy

Clean and cozy are words that capture this sweet little cottage! The indoor fireplace made for warm snuggles on the couch. The outdoor fireplace was the perfect setting for relaxing and chatting.
