We did not understand the 4 Star Review. We noticed that there were several bags of trash in the kitchen and dinning room but there was a very large trash can on the deck for these to be deposited into. If you needed that large trash can emptied, you only had to send us a message and it would have been emptied that day. There was also lots of food on the counter in bags. When you booked, you did not mention that you had anyone else staying but 1 person. The day before you were to check out, you mentioned that you had a bunch of small children. After you checked out later on that evening, we visited the house to collect the trash bags. We saw where all the beds had been used plus most all the towels. The Container for the towels and wash clothes was running over plus the Washing Machine was completely full. You mentioned that an over head light was not burning. We said that we would send someone to fix the light but you said that you would fix that light. Also, table lights were moved to different locations plus some of the furniture had been moved. We had said that we would rent to you again but we still cannot understand, why you left us the 4 star rating. Your Hosts, Fred & Carol Kaurish

Thank you for taking Wonderful care of our Vacation Home. We are sorry that one of the outlets in the Den did not work. We had tried to check out every thing before you all arrived but never thought of the outlets but they will be fixed immediately. I know that you all had to call our daughter about the outlet but that is why she is on our VRBO account. Both of us have medical issues that sometimes require hospitalization, so she takes care of any problems that come up with our renters. Fred & Carol Kaurish Hosts

Our guests were great. Before they checked out, they put the trash in the trash can plus washed all the dishes in the dishwasher. Thank you for your review. I am sorry about the knives not being sharp. Most of our guests have small children and leaving really sharp knives in the kitchen can be dangerous. In the future, I would suggest that if someone wants sharp knives that they bring them from their house and then they can then return the knife to their house. We try to be very responsible hosts to all of our guests, but especially when they have children. The kitchen is not really large but everything is very close, so you do not have to run around in circles looking for what you need. I (Carol) designed this kitchen myself, when we built this house years ago. I was a career person, who did a lot of traveling and did not have time to waste, so I wanted everything handy for my use, plus those who stayed at our house to do the cooking and cleaning.
