The Neighborhood:
Located only minutes from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, TN, this gorgeous cabin is located in the Roaring Fork area. The mighty Roaring Fork Stream is stocked weekly with trout, so don't forget to pick up a fishing license and have some fun!
They are rebuilding a condo complex behind the cabin. They are nearing completion. We just want to make you aware, but there should be no noise issues inside the cabin nor on the porch other than the wonderful sound of rushing water.
Getting Around:
All paved roads to the cabin. We recommend 4x4 wheel drive at any cabin in Gatlinburg and/or the mountains as well as this one. It's easy to reach the cabin and very close to downtown Gatlinburg (1 mile away).
Other Things to Note:
• The Roaring Fork Stream is stocked weekly by the City of Gatlinburg — you can grab a fishing license locally
• Must be 21 or older to book this cabin
• This cabin sleeps 8 guests maximum
• We always recommend a 4x4 drive for anywhere in the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin features paved roads all the way, and without any inclement weather, any car should be fine, but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area
• Fireplace is wood burning — bring your own firewood
• They are rebuilding a condo complex behind the cabin. They are nearing completion. There should be no noise issues inside the cabin or on the porch other than the sound of rushing water
• Cabin features WiFi and Smart TVs (no cable — bring your streaming logins)
• Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. It may need time to reach full temperature on the check-in day.
• Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided.
• Guests agree to use the website messenger for all communication, even if initial contact is made by another method.
• Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors.
• We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos.
• Being in the mountains, wind can sometimes blow leaves, dirt, or other natural debris into the hot tub. The hot tub has been drained and cleaned to ensure it’s ready for use.

We loved the cabin especially the location next to the creek. The best part is we had a bear in the yard the morning we were leaving.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the cabin and the peaceful creek setting. Seeing a bear in the yard must have been quite a memorable way to end your stay! We hope to welcome you back again sometime.
Perfect stay in a wonderful location. No scary roads and close to downtown. The beds were comfortable and the creek was amazing. The kids room is large and very spacious. We really enjoyed the hot tub, grilling steaks and we even had a few bears pay us a visit. Would absolutely stay again!

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s wonderful to hear the location, comfortable beds, and spacious kids’ room added to your stay, and that the creek and hot tub made it special. Having bears visit sounds like a memorable highlight! We appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope to welcome you back sometime.
As usual, this property was outstanding!! Always super clean and beautiful cabin on the river with a wonderful wood burning fireplace. The river sounds are so soothing in the evenings, and the entire property is centrally located to Gatlinburg. We will definitely return again in 2026!
This house is great! Pictures are accurate. The house is super convenient to the Gatlinburg downtown Parkway. However, We never attempted to walk and always drove. The river and the porch are my absolute favorite thing about the house. If a river and the river sounds are your thing. You will love this house!! The time of year we were there (late March) is apparently stink bug season and they do get into the house. We went to war with about 20 of them when we arrived. We won! But over the course of the week several made it back inside. We looked it up, they are harmless and seeking warmth. They tend to flock to the curtains and higher on the ceilings. These are smallish and tan colored. Nothing like the big scary ones we have in Texas. The host was quick to reply with any questions and I would love to stay in this house again!! Highly recommend this house !!

Thank you so much for your kind words and detailed feedback. We're delighted you enjoyed the house, the river sounds, and your experience with our quick responses—hope to host you again soon!
The cabin and hot tub was very clean. It is convenient to Gatlinburg and you can walk if you wanted to. The porch is nice to relax and enjoy coffee in the morning. The communication with the host and the response was quick.
We had a wonderful time and the cabin was everything we needed and more. The wrap around screened porch, close proximity to everything, creek access, huge eat in kitchen and abundance of nature and wildlife made for a perfect trip with many wonderful memories.
We honestly didn’t spend any time in downtown Gatlinburg but if you planned to, you could totally walk from here. The views are breathtaking and the screened in porch with the beds to lay on was so inviting. The house is beautiful, it looked just like the listing. We will absolutely be back!!
We stayed at this cabin for my daughter’s birthday weekend and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect, the cabin was well managed, and the views were beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here for a nice getaway or family vacation.
Our family of 5 stayed for a weekend this location is perfect very close to town and the boys loved playing in the creek and enjoyed the hot tub at night.
My family of 3 shared this cabin with another family of 3, four adults and two 8 year old girls. We had a great time at the cabin. The front porch and creek were awesome. My only suggestion is to perhaps bring your own pillows if you have a sensitive neck.
