Bears do visit the cabin on a regular basis. There is an active bear visit from our driveway! Please supervise children outside, keep car doors locked and cabin doors shut at all times. Do not leave food in your car or outside. All trash must be placed in the bear bins. Because we are in the woods, you will see bugs. Occasionally, a few make their way inside.

This is a beautiful property with a great location, very short drive to the Gatlinburg strip. Rightly sized for a couple of families and equipped with all that one would need for a short stay. The host is very responsive and helpful as well.
Wonderful cabin. Sara was a wonderful host. Hot tub worked perfectly and is well located. Cabin was very close to almost everything we wanted to visit this time. Had the chance to see momma bear and her little cub wondering around looking for food two days on the road. My family had a great experience, looking forward on booking same cabin again. This was our fourth time on the past six years going to Gatlinburg, first time we were able to experience seeing bears on the wild.
Fantastic rental! It was clean, comfy and so well maintained. Owners have thought through all the details to create a perfect experience. Definitely recommend!
An excellent mountain cabin to snuggle up with your family in! Very warm and welcoming and the hot tub and pool table make for an even better experience.
Great location with a great view. It was secluded, but not far from town. Exactly what we were looking for on our vacation. The queen mattress on the main level could use an upgrade. It was firm on the sides but sank to the middle which didn’t allow us a great nights sleep. Cabin could use a good deep clean, but otherwise it was a great stay & our teenage boys were very happy with the pool table & hot tub.
The cabin was very welcoming, homey, and well-equipped! We enjoyed the billiards and entertainment, and especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after long hikes in the mountains! The location was great since the cabin is nestled in the mountains, yet still close to downtown Gatlinburg. Just be sure and bring a truck or SUV since Loop Road and the cabin driveway are very steep. Overall great experience and we would stay here again!
This was very average. We were disappointed in the quality of some of the accommodations. It was very basic. Given the beauty of the place and the price point, small things like bed pillows and leaky faucets were surprisingly unattended to. Locations was beautiful. Recommend driving up in daylight.

My husband and 3 children ages 5,12 and 15 had a wonderful week spent here. It was close to everything and beautiful location. We even had some bears to walk right by the deck. Thank you!!
This beautiful cabin was in a perfect location close to downtown Gatlinburg. The house had everything we needed. The host communicated all information needed before we arrived so we didn’t have any questions.

The first night we went to use the stove & it had burnt stuff in the bottom of oven & when it was turned on to preheat it smoked up the lower level. The nice windows were easy to use to air out the place. The smoke detector we found closest to the oven wasnt working when we tested & didn't have a battery in it. We were not planning on going back out that evening, that is why we rented a cabin with appliances. The hot tub had hot water but the jets were just blowing out a bit of water with no real pressure at all. That was very disappointing to our group. Needs some TLC on the deck especially on the hot tub side. View was pretty & it is close to town. We wouldn't pick this cabin again without some TLC & housekeeping doing a better job cleaning. Found other renters left stuff under the sleigh bed & no one had cleaned under it.
First what was great! The location was perfect. The cabin is the mountains not far from the city. The cabin was amazing. Jacuzzi was on when we got there and clean. The beds were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool table and games. The Christmas tree made it feel homie. I give it a 3 because the towels were all dirty. They were hanged with the dirty side folded inward. Since we needed to use them we just washed them ourselves forgetting to take a picture of them. The sofabed was really dirty. Had lots of hairs so we ended up not being able to use it.
Are normal rental was not available and this cabin was a great fill in. Only down fall is having to take the trash down the steep driveway to place in the bins. Could not use the jacuzzi do to it being dirty and none of the jets working. But the cabin was clean and comfortable.
This is a very nice cabin in the woods. The owners were extremely accommodating and hospitable, and their home is very well appointed with all the necessities and lots of little extras. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the beds are quite comfortable. The cabin is lovely and secluded.. The location was perfect for us as we were away from the crowds in Gatlinburg but close to Roaring Forks (which we love) and still close enough to Gatlinburg to be there within about 10 minutes. We very much enjoyed our stay including the adventurous drive up to the cabin! Thank you Mary Jo!
