Beautiful home that was stocked with everything you could ask for in the kitchen to make a lovely meal. For entertainment, you can find plenty of boardgames and movie options from the dvd collection, or watch tv. The rooms were spacious and clean. The host was very responsive if needed.
The home was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host was welcoming and responsive to the questions we had. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!
This was a most amazing place. It snowed 4 feet and we had a very merry Christmas. Rich was a very attentive host and made our stay great. I highly recommend this place.
This home provided my family with a great summer getaway! The neighborhood is lovely and very friendly. There are nearby hiking trails and beautiful views. It's a short drive to the lake and to the restaurants in Incline Village. The house is very clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again!
Here is a review draft you can use or tailor for your stay: 5/5 – Charming, Well-Equipped, and So Homey! We had a wonderful stay at this property! A quick heads-up: the home isn’t quite as spacious as it appears in the wide-angle listing photos, but what it lacks in extra square footage, it more than makes up for in warmth, character, and comfort.A few highlights from our trip: * Comfortable Even Without A/C: While the house doesn't have air conditioning, the host’s advice was spot-on. Opening the windows to let the cool breeze in and keeping the fans running made sleeping at night completely comfortable and refreshing. * A Chef’s Kitchen: The kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked. There is a fantastic variety of cookware and bakeware, making it super easy to whip up just about any meal you can think of. * Thoughtful & Homey Touches: The little details really elevated our stay—from the luxurious bath wash and towels provided in the bathroom to the cozy deck chairs outdoors. With multiple gathering areas scattered around the property, everyone was able to find a comfortable nook to relax and catch up. * Scenic Location: The drives to and from the house—as well as out to local spots in the area—are absolutely stunning.Overall, it’s a lovely, welcoming spot with great energy. We’d happily stay here again!
Good overall, yet two small things would make it perfect: 1) stock with more TP and ) use fragrence-free detergent. The bathroom without a door is odd.
Sweet home and well set up kitchen! Lots of games for family time. My grandkids enjoyed snowplay and game time! Rich and Flo were super helpful when we had some issues getting into unit, by our own “operator error”!
We overall enjoyed our stay at Richard and Florence's cabin in Incline Village. On the positive, the bed were very comfortable and the kitchen was well enough stocked with cookware and utensils that we could cook meals. The showers were pleasant and the washer/dryer worked easily. On the negative, the upstairs did get quite hot in the heat of summer and there is no AC (which is common, but something to consider). The area where we were most disappointed was the back balcony/deck. There were 2 small, broken-ish chairs out there. That's it. We would have much more preferred to have had a way to dine outside and simply sit comfortably with a drink to enjoy nature. Also, the grill was very old and didn't work all that well - but we managed to use it.
