Un écrin de verdure
A 1h d'Issoire ou de Clermont-Ferrand, la propriété est clairement retirée de la vie urbaine ! Au calme au fond d'une impasse, avec les champs pour horizon, nous avons pu laisser la voiture et partir dans les GR/PR depuis la location.
Pour faire ses courses, St Germain L'Herm est à quinze minutes de voiture et les commerçants y sont charmants, tout comme nos propriétaires d'ailleurs !
La location est grande et confortable (pour 6 mais nous étions 3. Nous avons donc laissé une chambre inoccupée), la décoration "locale" - ou datée, c'est selon - mais qui correspond à une maison de vacances : ayant vécu plusieurs étés dans cette région d'Auvergne dans des demeures familiales, j'y ai trouvé ici les mêmes meubles.
Pour les connectés, le réseau SFR passe suffisamment pour ses mails et le téléphone, tandis que le réseau Orange est aux abonnés absents. Pas de wifi/adsl dans la location mais est-ce vraiment utile dans ce contexte ?
Du calme, du calme, du calme ! Pendant tout notre séjour.
Nous sommes resté 8 nuits. Sans nos contraintes professionnelles (les congés payés!), nous serions bien resté une semaine de plus dans cet écrin de verdure.
