Nestled in the foothills the Black Hills this cottage (cabin) has one bedroom-one bath-great kitchen and nice living room with gas fireplace and cable tv. A cloths washer and dryer are provided. It has a great covered porch with beautiful views-chairs and table. It is approximately one mile from Elk Creek Steak House and Valley Market .

Love it

This was our second stay with Don and Rita and it was fantastic. We enjoy them so much. The cabin is perfect for our needs and the property is gorgeous. I’m sure we’ll be back

It was great experience, the host was awesome and very helpful. We have never been to South Dakota and we’re amazed at how absolutely beautiful the area is. We are looking forward to another visit

Stay in Piedmont

The place was centrally located for all the places to visit in the Black Hills of S. Dakota. The unit was well appointed, clean, with beautiful grounds including wild turkeys and deer each day. The owners live on the property and were very helpful when we had a problem with the internet service.

Peaceful getaway

Peaceful, quiet place to come back to every night after all the driving, walking and hiking we did. It was in the middle of everything so it was very convenient to get to places. The place was very clean, had everything we needed and the owners were very nice and accommodating. Was nervous about no air conditioner but you definitely don’t need it! Favorite places to see: Badlands, Needles highway, Deadwood, Bear Country, Spearfish and of course Mt. Rushmore at night. Alpine Inn had awesome Steaks!

Location great for sightseeing in South Dakota!

This property is exceptionally clean , comfortable and well maintained. It is conveniently located to do day trips to Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, Spearfish Canyon, Sturgis and many other local attractions. Along with having a nice patio to enjoy the view of deer and turkeys. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting to stay in this area.
