Things to Know
Pool construction in the East and West towers is occuring April through mid-May 2024. During this time, Calypso Tower 3 pool is available for guests staying in Towers 1 and 2.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Calypso Resort is fantastic but this particular condo was less than impressive! The two best parts of this unit are the views and they have spare fans in the closet. I’ve stayed at Calypso for the last 5 years but this is the first time I rented this unit. This is also my last. The pictures accurately represent the unit, but they must be a decade old. The furniture is old, the cushions (living room) are dirty, the chairs have nothing left in the seat. When you sit down you keep going. The patio furniture is almost all broken. The door to the master bath doesn’t open or close. This is a pocket door and clearly has been broken for several months. When I stripped the beds for check out the mattress cover on the master bed was inexcusable. There’s not enough material left of it to cover a shoe box and it’s dirty. The floors in the master bath have areas that haven’t seen a good scrubbing in quite some time and several of the tiles are loose. Floorboards haven’t been cleaned in awhile either. I spoke with several other guests and the theme from any that booked through Vacasa was the same. The units are not well maintained or cleaned. I’m won’t be using Vacasa again and certainly won’t rent this unit again. Calypso Resort is my favorite place and one of the best places to stay in PCB! But, this unit was very disappointing.

The location is wonderful with a great view. The furniture is adequate. We only cooked breakfast. I think dinner might be a challenge with the kitchen pots etc. VACASA management was horrible.
