Family Vacay 2025

Our room was very clean and inviting. The views were spectacular from the balcony. The host really thought about guests needs and made sure those needs were met. Communication with the host was easy and questions weee answered promptly. I would recommend this condo.

Perfection

Everything about this booking exceeded expectations. The condo was well stocked, immaculate and in a great location. Owner was extremely helpful and very attentive to our every need even those that were unexpected. Tiki hut in complex serves very good and very strong drinks….i recommend drinking lots! Sunsets are amazing and just takes your breath away! Coffee in mornings and a glass of wine in the evening just hit differently on this balcony!

I gave this condo 5 Stars but it is way better than a motel in fact not even close to a motel Myself and 2 grandkids just spent an awesome week in Michaels condo If you’re going to list pros and cons There are no cons The condo is exactly as pictured The couches and beds are very comfortable The location is perfect with Pier Park right across the street and Walmart is within an easy walk You can easily park your car for the week The calypso has security on site We felt very safe Can’t wait to return

We liked the gorgeous view. The condo was nice enough. Great balcony. It could have been cleaner. I don't recommend this place if you can't walk well. It's quite a hike from the parking garage.

Great Stay

The condo was exactly as pictured. All the amenities of the resort were great. Parking was not a hassle. You are steps away from the Pier shops and restaurants no reason to have a car. The condo was clean and the kitchen well stocked with everything you might need. Look forward to staying there again.

This was our first visit to PCB. The rental was excellent in every way. Fantastic views, beautiful beach and nice amenities in the building. And you can't beat the location being so close to Pier Park.

Spring Break 2024

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo is beautiful and clean. Location is fantastic and within walking distance to Pier Park. Beach chair service is always an added bonus too. The heated pool was a big hit with our son. Owner was easy to communicate with. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Best condo so far

We have stayed at 5 different condos at calypso towers 1 and 2 and by far this was the nicest one so far. Newly updated bathrooms and floors . Clean . We definitely will stay here again. Also great communication with the owner.

We had a great stay at the calypso. Great condo, cleanly, updated. The condo owner was attentive. We had a couple snafu’s but he responded quickly. The complex was the perfect location for all the restaurants, shops and bars.

Wonderful Spring Break!

Our family had a wonderful time spending spring break here! Our first time in PBC did not disappoint. The location and walk-ability was ideal for meals, shopping, and for our fishing-obsessed son who spent as much time on the pier as he did at the beach. Our only complaint was the inability to get the “4 chairs and 2 umbrellas” that came with the rental. Maybe they weren’t fully geared up for the season yet but we were only able to get them 2/5 beach days while we were here (it rained 1 day). Luckily there were a couple chairs in the condo so we just took those down and made our own spot. Plenty of boogie boards and sand toys in the unit, too, so no need to pack those. We had a great stay and the unit was beautiful! Thanks for making our 996 mile pilgrimage from northern Virginia worth it!

Bumpy At First

Arrived to Unit at 4 pm as instructed. Unfortunately, it had not been cleaned. People prior to us had left a HUGE mess and cleaning person became overwhelmed and just left. Contacted owner of Unit and informed him of issues. Finally Property Manager and another cleaning crew arrived. Finally around 9:30/9:45 we were able to unpack. Also, be prepared to bring everything!!! There was no “starter “ supplies. No welcome note or basket like all other VRBO’s that I have stayed at. Another issue, people do not return carts and we had to carry everything to and from the unit. Thankfully we had a beach wagon. The BEST part of this unit was that it was beach front and we ALL enjoyed this!! It was also convenient to Pier Park and other restaurants that we could walk to!! Owner of the Unit was easily accessible and responsive!!

No air…see if someone else cares

While the property is beautiful I am not sure the owner realizes the “it looks passable” cleaning job he is paying for. Upon entering the condo it appeared clean. However, the master bedroom bed had been remade poorly with used sheets!! So, while some headed to grocery store others striped, washed and remade beds! We also had a layer of sand throughout the condo we swept and vacuumed. Bedtime we realized the sofa pull out had been put back with bedding from previous guest as well, luckily we had a spare set of sheets for sofa bed. Monday night the air went out, saving grace it was an off day for baseball and most were at beach all day. The owner was contacted and we were told it was a west tower issue. Tuesday condo hit 80 and we had to try an sleep in it and get up to play ball refreshed!!! I was told to check with front desk about air issue, they said they did not handle our unit to check with HOA office!! Let’ see 7pm Tuesday night THEY are not open until 9 am Wednesday!!!!! Owner asked if he could send people in for repair while we had 8 & 9:30 baseball games?? Absolutely, we would love to come back to cool condo. Our baseball team had 13 condos rented here 8 in the West tower, while at our Wednesday games 6 owners sent $500 back to guests for inconvenience of air issue while my owner tells me he is traveling and to update him in status of air. Gee thanks!! Air got fixed about 3pm on Wednesday. Side notes, the oven takes 22 minutes to preheat to 350, the condo needs a Real broom and dust pan and please don’t think on check out day you can run get donuts at 8:30 and your code will still work on your door. Check out is 10 NOT 8:30 so had I not had family in condo I could wake up then I would have been locked out!!!! Now the good, the condo is beautiful. The owner provides 2 sets of beach chairs and umbrellas for the stay and there is a closet full of beach stuff for guest use. The parking garage was nice and the covered walk over a God send not only on hot days but the storm we let in Saturday. There are lots of stores and restaurants in walking distance, the pools are great for kids after long day and we enjoyed the singers every night form our balcony. So, would I stay at Calypso again?? Probably so since my grandson has at least 7 more years of baseball that could put us in PCB each summer. Beautiful condos and beach. Michael has a beautiful condo and he is a nice guy! Thanks for sharing your condo with us!!

Great Condo - just like pictures. This condo was super clean, plenty of space for the family. I LOVE the thoughtfulness of the oversized towels and high-end appliances. The master bath had a shower that was amazing. Thanks for the 4 beach chairs- great for large groups. Check in and out was simple. We liked the option to change the door code.

I retired from active duty Naval service where I served as an aviator and spent most of my career as a fighter/attack pilot flying the F/A-18 Hornet. I retired in July 2009 and currently work for the United States Air Force, as a Program Manager, in defense acquisitions at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. I love the Emerald Coast and Panama City Beach!!

I self manage my condo and it is my vacation home as well. I take meticulous care of it. When you are my guest in my condo, you are a priority for me since this is my only condo. Unlike renting from a management company where you are only a number and not a priority.
