I mean it’s at the beach

The ceiling looks like it has mold all over it, the only patio furniture is a set of two chairs, and the mattresses will have you missing your bed at home You’re at the beach and I guess that is what it’s all about. I’ve stayed at much nicer condos for the same price or cheaper.

Needs a good cleaning.

The view is amazing and location was great. The balcony definitely needs more seating. There are no extra blankets for anyone that sleeps on the couch. There was only one roll of toilet paper. The room was not very clean. Found previous visitor’s shoes and empty chip bag under the bed. My feet were black from the floor. There were dirty utensils in the drawer. The entry door is not numbered and does not seal well, it banged in the wind all night.

Good but could be better

First off, I would have given a 3.5 if possible. You will have a good stay but this condo needs some updates. We loved the location on the beach, the fact it was on the end of the first floor. It was cleaned well. Great Wi-Fi. Obviously, it had an amazing view and was close to everything we needed in town. 2 Bedrooms gave privacy and beds were firm. Drawbacks: Number was not in the door. Sleeper beds in the couches were extremely uncomfortable to the point we bought an air mattress. It sleeps 3-4 realistically. Children might be fine on the couches but not adults. The condo needs some cosmetic work and some updates.

Not everything is as it seems

So, the pictures online are beautiful. Then you get there and realize you’ve been got. One thing I can say is the overall place was pretty clean, but only because the cleaning staff made us wait 45 minutes in the breezeway with our perishable food items so they could finish cleaning the condo. Check in as at 4 according to the website listing and emails I received, but it was almost 5 by the time we FINALLY get into our room. There was blood all over the mattress, the phone number on the email for the office was not a working number. They forgot our parking pass until the next day and we could’ve gotten towed. The sheets have weird stains (other than the blood), there’s mold on the ceiling, the tv in the bedroom has 3 big black lines on it. The vent drips water all night, the dryer ruined a couple clothing items. Went to make breakfast the next morning, and only two small stove eyes work, so cooking here isn’t even plausible. The pullout bed/couch was absolutely FILTHY and you can feel the bars under the thin little mattress. We payed a lot of money to stay here and we were ultimately very dissatisfied. To beat it all, no one will get back to you about switching rooms so we just had to deal with it.

We will never book with Ocean Villa

On day 2 the AC unit quit and could not be repaired until after we left. There isn't an on-site repair person. Took two days for an outside service to come look at the unit. We had 6 guest and only 2 chairs on the balcony. The stove top burners barely worked. DO NOT STAY IN UNIT 406. I could never talk with the property manager. She would only communicate via text messages

The view was spectacular. Enjoyable beach vacation.

It was a nice condo except for two things. The kitchen stove only had two small burners that worked and so would not recommend it for anyone who is planning on doing much cooking. The other was some issues with the living room TV . Vacasa came on our third day and picked up the box but never heard back from them by the time we left on our 6th day. Otherwise it was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Overall pretty good

No room number on the door. The toaster was terrible. Toasted one side of the bread. The light in the second bedroom was horrible. The furniture was falling apart on the balcony. The front left burner on the stove did not work. That being said it was very clean and had plenty of towels.

Great location

The location was great and very clean property. The entry door had no number, so it was difficult to find our condo, given no number- we checked other floors and figured out it had to be the right door. Two lamps missing light bulbs, the master bathroom hairdryer was broken and the living room TV would turn on, but unable to get a picture/clear station. We called and left messages, but no response during our stay.

Great getaway

Overall , we enjoyed our stay here. Few things need updating, but it didn’t ruin our stay. The toaster did not work well, there wasn’t a muffin pan, the light switch did not work in master bedroom, and so we had to use the lamps. No floor mat to step on anywhere to clean your salty feet. Like I said, there were a few inconveniences, but we would stay again. 4/5 rating! Balcony and location are absolutely perfect. Very pleased overall. Thank you!

Clean room, great view!

We had a great time and the room was clean and the property was nice! The small issue we had was fixed promptly.. small things that could have been improved! The furniture on balcony was horrible, table falling apart wouldn’t even hold a drink. Needs updating! The dishwasher feel out when we were loading it! There was 5 guests and we had 5 towels and 5 wash cloths, no more. We seriously did laundry daily to have clean towels to use. Yes we try to re use however the beach is sandy and well sometimes you need a clean towel. Only 2 pillows on each bed and they are not the best.. my teenage kids slept on the pull out beds. The mattress on those were horrible! Only one fitted sheet provided and one regular sheet. We did ask for another blanket and someone brought us one. One of the eyes on the stove doesn’t work.. all in all everything was fine and we “made do” however had major room for improvements to guests.
