Otter Place: Lakefront Cabin, Generator, Wi-Fi, FREE Firewood, No Cleaning Fee!

We just completed a remodel of our Otter Place cabin located on the southwest shore of beautiful Lost Lake. This 2BD, 1BA cabin accommodates up to 6 guests.

You'll love the warm, cozy feel of this cabin when you enter with the beautiful pine paneled ceilings, doors & trim, rustic hickory cabinets and the Northwoods decor throughout.

In the well-equipped kitchen, you'll not only appreciate the built-in appliances which include a dishwasher and microwave, but you'll also find plenty of dishes, pots & pans, and other items such as a crock pot, Pizzazz, electric frying pan, Nutri Bullet, hand mixer and more!

The cabin has central A/C for those hot, humid days and forced air heating for days that are colder. Enjoy the 42" flat screen, wall-mounted TV with YouTube TV, Netflix Prime & Angel services, and the FREE Spectrum Premier Wi-Fi (up to 500 mbps) provided for our guests.

The attached deck will be a great place to lounge outside and enjoy the beautiful nature and animals of the Northwoods. There's a charcoal grill and picnic table for outdoor cooking/dining, and a large wooden swing for you to enjoy. You'll have your own fire pit with 4 benches...FREE firewood provided.

Otter Place has a new private dock with a bench and steps (updated pics to come). The swimming area out front of the cabin is sandy and great for swimming.

An aluminum rowboat is provided with this rental property. The boat is licensed so you're able to bring/rent a motor and add it, if you'd like. Feel welcome to use the 2 kayaks w/paddles. Possible pontoon boat available to rent during your stay. Inquire if it is available.

Connect to the famous Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail and the St. Germain ATV Club Trail at the end of our private road. We also provide direct access to the lake in the winter for snowmobilers. There is plenty of parking space to accommodate your trailers, too.

Guests who enjoy fishing will appreciate the remodeled fish cleaning house on the property with its 10' stainless steel sink and running water. It's available to our guests year-round...whether fishing in the summer or ice fishing during the winter season.

Have a large group wanting to rent? In addition to our Otter Place cabin, we also own the cabin next door…Gone Fish Inn (completely remodeled in 2019), and the lake house two doors down…Whitetail Ridge (newly constructed in 2018). Our current guests are given the first opportunity to rebook for the following year so if you're interested in starting a yearly tradition, Otter Place, Gone Fish Inn, and Whitetail Ridge are great places to choose for your family vacation. Most of our guests have been coming since day one!

Otter Place is non-smoking.

**We do not charge you a cleaning fee!

**After booking, we will contact you to confirm your information and answer any questions you may have. Instructions for check-in will be emailed to you 7-14 days prior to your arrival.

**Dogs are considered for an additional fee of $150 per dog (maximum of two dogs...a separate invoice will be sent for the second dog fee). Undisclosed pets will be charged a separate fee starting at $200. Due to allergies, cats are not allowed.

**There are 2 outdoor cameras mounted on the cabin that are used for security purposes only – no audio is recorded, video only. There is a sign posted as you enter the grounds stating there are surveillance cameras in use.

**Whole-cabin backup generator to ensure you won't be without power during your vacation in case storms pass through the area!!!

**Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect their vacation investment in case of unforeseen circumstances resulting in a change of plans.
