Meditation areas and a place to be transformed by nature. 30 minutes from the international airport (SJO). 40 minutes from beaches.

The Space:
Our facilities, accommodations and land are perfect for rental to large retreat/ workshop groups, meditation and yoga intensives, weddings, family reunions and other types of residential contemplative practices (health and wellness programs). Our guests enjoy complete privacy, a quit and peaceful surrounding and can immerse themselves in the extraordinary Costa Rican nature.

The property comes with 13 rooms that can sleep up to 30 guests. Every room has its own private bathroom (including toilet and shower). The arrangements are perfect for workshops and get-togethers as the property comes with a big outdoor workshop space and outdoor dining areas.

Location
This 4-acres property is located only 30 minutes from the San Jose International Airport (SJO) and approximately 40 minutes to some of the most popular beaches in Costa Rica.

The Property, garden and wildlife
There are three houses on this property. One main house, one bungalow and one tree house (property manager lives here). Each house comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, 1-2 restrooms in the general area, living space with sofas and chairs and dining space.

The beautiful garden is well maintained by our full-time gardener that has been taken care of this land for over 20 years. Depending on the season, he harvests and makes our homegrown fruits and vegetables available to our guests, including but not limited to: Fresh and juicy mangoes, pineapples, papayas, guava, bananas, cashew nuts, potatoes, yuca, other root vegetables and herbs.

Explore Costa Rica's wildlife on our property! You will get to see many beautiful and exotic flowers as well as huge butterflies, iguanas, geckos, frogs, hummingbirds and with a little luck even toucans and sloths. We Kindly ask you to practice a no-kill approach with all animals on our property. Our grounds manager is happy to take care of any unwanted bugs.

Climate
Atenas is known as the place with "the best climate on the planet", as we have long sunny days and cool nights. The dry season is from about November - May and the raining season from about May -November.

Excursions
We happily arrange excursions for you around the country. Popular spots are: beaches, waterfalls, volcanos, national parks, animal sanctuaries and coffee tours.
We can also arrange a chef to provide you with 1-3 meals of your choice a day. This option needs to be discussed before you book the retreat center.

Please be aware:
- We have three super cute, clean and quiet cats living on our property. All cats have been living here for over two years and are used to guests.
- We only rent to one group at the time and you will have full access to the main house, bungalow house and area and all of the garden. We do have a grounds manager staying in the treehouse, which is a separate unit and located separately from the main facilities. We Kindly ask you to respect the manager's privacy, however welcome you to always approach him if needed.
- The property is secured by a front gate, 24/7 surveillance cameras and a security guard every night.

Guest interactions:
Our full-time gardener and maid are working 6 days of the week. The maid speaks english and knows the property inside and out. You're welcome to approach her with any questions you might have.
The property manager is staying either on-site in the Treehouse or off side which will be communicated before your stay. You will be able to reach the property manager at any time of your stay.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located in Santa Eulalia, about 10 minutes from Atenas. This small and safe city is know for "having the best climate in the world". You can enjoy local cuisine, have access to multiple supermarkets, weekly farmers markets, a gym, hardware store, repair shops and boutiques.
There is a small mini market located directly across the street that is open during the day.

Getting Around:
Within 40 minutes you can reach some of Costa Rica's most popular and beautiful beaches, the huge Alajuela CityMall, the airport and other excursion highlights like hikes, waterfalls and coffee tours.
