VIlla Athinais is set in secluded olive groves and is newly built. The villa occupies a hillside site with glorious views across the island to the sea and has all modern amenities including central air-conditioning and individual climate air conditioning profile for each room. This Villa is a 3 bedrooms spacious Residence of 150 sq. m. that spreads in two levels. It is built near three of the most well know beaches in Lixouri area, Platia Ammos, Xi and Petani, and it is an airy home with relaxing atmosphere.

It is providing comfortable and bright rooms, with a touch of luxury.

It consists of open-plan sitting area with fireplace combined with kitchen and dining room, three bedrooms, one double and two twins, with lovely views over the surrounding country side, two shower rooms, terrace with BBQ & garden.

The patio is surrounded by an extensive area with verdant greenery, lending an enviable amount of privacy ans serenity, offering the opportunity for a gentle stroll in the shade. A wooden table and chairs complete the perfect setting for relaxation.

Great for children of all ages. At close proximity at one of the most known monasteries of the island, the Monastery of Koronato.

Amazing villa

What a really lovely villa, so big and clean. We had everything we could have wanted, they provided Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, washing liquid/conditioner for washing machine, shower gels, kitchen condiments, coals for the BBQ and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. We were greeted by the host and shown around. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was amazing we had a really relaxing stay here, hosts were extremely helpful, Mikos even met us on our way to the airport to give us some of their home grown honey, such a lovely gesture. Would highly recommend this villa.

Very beautiful villa in Cefalonia

We stayed in seven persons in Villa Athinais for one week, and it was a wonderful period. The villa is beautiful, even better than the description, new, very clean, very well equipped. There is a nice veranda were we could have dinner, a perfect barbecue, even a dishwasher, a garden and plenty of open space where we could relax. We were there in a very hot period, but in the house there was always a lot of fresh wind, so that in the night we could keep the windows open, even because every window has its own mosquito net. In any case every room is equipped with independent air conditioning. The location is very close to Lixouri, where is plenty of shops and services. It is less than one hour drive from the port of Sami, the location is perfect to trip around the west part of the island, and in any case we could drive within the day to every location of Cefalonia and visit its wonderful beaches. The owners are always available for help and suggestions. We found it a perfect accommodation in Cefalonia, which is a very beautiful island, Greece confirms itself as a wonderful place for holidays, and the greek people for his hospitality.

Fabulous

This is a beautiful villa in a rural setting with stunning views. Nikos and Athinaida were excellent hosts and treated us to a lovely welcome hamper of food and drink. The villa itself is spacious and beautifully decorated and the beds were super comfy. The pool area is fantastic with good quality sun loungers. We made the most of the outside space and enjoyed a few bbqs. Lixouri itself is unspoilt by tourism and is a small town with everything you need, while remaining authentically Greek. Lots of nice restaurants on the seafront to choose from. We particularly liked one tucked away on the backstreet called Tsibibo which had a beautiful outside setting and stunning food. Can recommend the moussaka and klefitiko. The ferry to Argostoli is recommended as is a trip to Ladokolla taverna just off the main square in Argostoli. It's a traditional taverna that sells the most delicious gyros and souvlaki in pitta at a reasonable price. We loved our stay at Villa Athinias and hope to return.

Fantastic!

Had 10 days out here to attend a friends wedding. Wonderful villa, great location and scenery. Loved the 'sheep rush hour' twice a day which went passed the villa. Great swimming pool and total relaxation. Nikos and Athinaida were very helpful. First time on the island and would love to come back! I think Lixouri may have been a bit quieter after all the wedding party, which stayed near by, had left!
