Luxury, recently renovated and fully furnished 2 bedrooms apartment in 14th century prestigious Palazzo Falier. Facing the Grand Canal, the most fascinating water way of the town, this apartment offers to its guests the best Venetian atmosphere with the comforts of a nicely venetian - style entirely renovated apartment. The two bedrooms, both with double bed and one with an extra sofa- bed, look the nice and silent side canal Rio del Duca; two elegant bathrooms decorated with glass Venetian mosaic, an equipped kitchen with view on a little garden and a charming, finely decorated living room with two windows on the Grand Canal and a wide view which goes from the Accademia Bridge to Palazzo Rezzonico.
The access to the apartment is trough the monumental entrance of Palazzo Falier, one of the most beautiful and well conserved Venetian private palazzo; from there you may arrive in Campo Santo Stefano in 1 minutes, or Palazzo Grassi Museum - Pinault Foundation, Accademia Galleries, Palazzo Franchetti, Palazzo Pisani Music Conservatory of Venice, Santo Stefano Church, the Fenice Opera House ... and of course San Marco Square, all in few minutes walking out of the Palazzo.
The Santo Stefano district is the nicest and most elegant area of Venice; nice restaurants and bars, or the old baccaro and trattoria;, antiques and modern design shops, or the best of Venetian artisans atelier; everything is just around the corner.
Arrive with a water taxi from the Grand Canal on the private jetty of the Palazzo; that's already a great way to start you stay in Venice, or just step down at San Samuele water bus stop, 2 minutes walking. Groceries, a supermarket, pharmacy, book shops, tobacconist, pilates gym, florist ... all you need is at two steps.

This place was fantastic, a quick water taxi ride from the train station. Located in a historic building just steps away from the square in San Marco district and close to the Accademie bridge. Perfectly located for walking to the main sites including Saint Marks square. The location was spacious with great views of the Grand Canal.

Delightful return visit

This was our second time staying in this lovely and well located apartment. Views from the living room are mesmerizing—like being on a houseboat with all the other boats going by. It’s also a short walk or vaporetto ride from every place we wanted to go.

Beautiful location and great apartment

We loved this spot. Took a water taxi right to the dock at the building. Inside had all the conviences we needed, comfortable beds and wonderful canal view. Able to walk to all major sites and excellent restaurants within walking distance. Orial was great welcoming us and making sure we knew how to use appliances and where everything was. I hope we get to come back some day!

Wonderful property.

Really, really nice apartment. Clean, very well equiped, very comfortable in every manner. The area is convenient to all the major sites, but not in a heavily crowded area. What makes this an exceptional property is the owner Giovanni and his helper Orial. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They truly care for their visitors and made our stay a special experience. We will definitely revisit!! PS: we are regular travelers and always rent apartments when possible. So, when we say special experience, we mean it!

What a gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the apartment in Palazzo Falier. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Orial met us at the Palazzo's dock and gave us all a tour and provided us with all the information we needed to feel comfortable in the apartment. The fact that it is on the Grande Canal is a big plus and while you sleep you can hear the waters of the canal lapping against the dock. It is only a 10 minute walk to the the grocery store and San Marco and Rialto. Perhaps if a cart for shopping was provided that would have made carrying heavy groceries a lot easier. Other than that it was a perfect place to stay. We had a problem with the wifi one night and Giovani was there to guide us through the process of rebouting. I would highly recommend this apartment! Great location and very nice! The bed was super comfortable. We are looking forward to staying here in the future! Many thanks Giovanni!

Our Venetian Vacation

I usually stay with family in Mestre, but this trip we wanted to bring another couple with us and really experience Venice 24/7 rather than day trips in. Getting to Venice was relatively easy with the water transportation right at the Marco Polo airport. We were delayed getting into Venice, but our contact returned to meet us when we arrived and thoroughly went through everything at the apartment which was a quiet part of an old historical palace, and right on the grand canal at canal level, so you could sit and watch the boats go by. What a treat to see how everyday Venetians live and work from this level. It was fascinating. Located right in San Marco, you can walk to many places or pick up a water taxi with a short walk to the Accademia Bridge or other vaparetto stops. Several were within a 5-10 minute walk. The apartment was comfortable and well appointed with all we needed, including umbrellas. My cousins came one day with their boat to take us to Burano, and having the private pier right at the Palace was very handy. We had to be respectful of the family living at the palace, so only used the pier for pick up and return - no mooring of the boat at the pier. It came in handy for private water taxi service as well. I would highly recommend this place for 2 couples/4 people and hope to return in the future.

This beautiful property right on the Grand Canal was a perfect location for us and arriving by water taxi to the jetty was an amazing experience. Check in was great with Orial and the apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Amazing property and location right on Grand Canal. What could be better? Orial met us at the jetty in front of the property, helped with our luggage, and explained everything in the unit for us. He even gave us a great dining suggestion in the nearby Campo Santo Stefano. I hate to say anything that might be interpreted as critical of this property, as it is definitely a 10, but as a spoiled American (haha), we are not used to the concept of having a clothes washer and dryer in the SAME machine. I like the concept of a dingle machine which does both functions, but it’s really not that common in America. Despite my best efforts and reading the user’s manual, this my third property in Europe with such a combined machine, and I have of yet to figure out how to get the dryer to work properly. Using the washer is no problem (really easy), but the proper functioning of the dryer component is beyond my comprehension. Four hours and wet steaming towels? No real problem though, just be prepared hang everything to dry, which is no problem for my clothes, but it would have been nice to have the towels dry by the machine. Other than that one small issue (which is common in European properties I suppose), nothing could be better!! Thanks again to Giovanni and for all of Orial’s help.

Excellent set up for friends traveling together or a family. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, a small but well furnished kitchen, and a comfortable living room with plenty of seating and a dining table. The air conditioning is excellent. The apartment is on the first level (no stairs) with a lovely view of the canal.Excellent location with a private dock at the canal side of the building. Near many restaurants and water taxi and vaporetto stops.The host is easy to communicate with and takes excellent care of the property! I highly recommend thus beautiful property!

The place was beautiful and location was great. The private jette wasn’t used to pick us up for airport. But we did get dropped off there. The host was so attentive and got us a taxi and lots of ideas of places to eat. I would recommend this place for anyone coming to Venice. About a 15-20 minute walk to St. Marks square. Some great restaurants right around apartment also.
