Tiny House on the River

Tiny is perched near our home above the Black River. It's a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the interstate, parks, trails, and our vibrant downtown with cafés, shops, and great restaurants.
Enjoy privacy and breathtaking views from the enormous windows or the cozy daybed on the porch! Deer, beaver, eagles, and more make frequent cameos as the seasons paint shifting riverscapes and astonishing sunsets.
Exquisite Wisconsin design and craftsmanship is on display in cedar trim, cherry cabinets, oak floors and tons of high-end accoutrements like granite countertops, heated floors, fireplace, a heavenly bed, and more.
A wall of windows offers ever changing views of the Black River. A plush day bed on the screen porch is great for a lazy nap, for listening to the babbling rapids below or to just curl up with a book and enjoy!

Wonderful getaway!

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Tiny! It was a very comfortable and cozy space for two...we loved this place so much! Our favorite spot was the chaise lounge in the screened-in porch. The perfect home base for exploring Black River Falls and surrounding areas. Verona & Tom are wonderful hosts! We highly recommend a stay at Tiny!

Great Cabin, Great View

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was very clean and well decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. We loved the view of the river out the large front windows. While the cabin itself was small (as described) the seating area, the kitchen, and especially the bedroom and bath area were nice and supplied ample room for us.

This home may be tiny, but it is absolute perfection. Every detail was thought of on this!! The screened in porch was a favorite to enjoy some stress free quiet time and just relax. If I could give 10 stars I would!!

two-day glampout

This was a little getaway to replace my son's summer camp that he missed due to a broken ankle. He is an adult with Down Syndrome so the idea was to enjoy our stay with biking, hiking, crafting and preparing meals - similar to what he does at camp, albeit a few days shorter. The tiny house was perfect for us! Clean and inviting with great scenery and plenty to do. We loved the nearby trails, did some crafts, and ended both days with smores. Would love to go back to Tiny in the future.

Beautiful and Cozy

My husband and I took a weekend "babymoon" before our second child arrives. We absolutely adored this property! The cabin is perfect with the screened in deck and still plenty of living space. The view is relaxing and the amenities are great! Our ONLY suggestion is to bring a fan. The cabin was quite toasty when we arrived and took quite a while to cool down (granted it was 90 degrees..). We bought a tower fan and placed it bedroom doorway facing the living room. It really helped the ac circulate! Otherwise, it was an absolutely lovely stay.

Beautiful property-needs more privacy

Absolutely beautiful tiny house! Super clean and sanitized! Amazing view of the river! Owner’s home is approximately 50 yards from the tiny house, and when they are in their yard, they can see into the rental’s bedroom. Having to walk through their driveway to get to our vehicle made it seem like we were trespassing. There is a privacy fence between the rental and the neighbors which was nice. Maybe one between the rental and owner’s home would be a great addition? Overall, the view was worth it!

Cozy Comfort in a Nature-Lover's Paradise

Tiny on the River is a little piece of heaven. The backyard includes a beautiful tree line teeming with a myriad of bird varieties. It overlooks the dark-as-ink Black River as it courses its way downstream towards the Mississippi River. Tiny itself is quality through and through. The cozy fireplace, the soft-as-a-feather-nest queen-size bed, the spacious shower, the expansive view by means of the wall of windows that faces the river, the ingeniously designed pocket doors that provide privacy without getting in the way, the granite, the wood, the lighting, the well-thought-out overall design, as well as all the little details that hosts Tom and Verona have furnished all combine to create the perfect locale for a quiet getaway.

Our Valentine’s Getaway

My partner and I are both workaholics. We needed a place where we could forget about work, worries, stress, etc.. and just enjoy our time together. We found tiny and looked like the perfect getaway for us. My partner is a Sous Chef and loved Tiny’s beautiful kitchen. Every basic necessity you can find it there. From the living room, kitchen, bedroom and to the bathroom. It was a wonderful experience for us. Even if at the time of our visit it was raining the big wide windows that emphasized the outside view definitely did not disappoint. My partner and I both love the rain and pairing it with that amazing view was just spot on. We just hoped we had more time but overall it was an amazing stay. We hope to come back again in the future. Thank you Tom and Verona for sharing your wonderful home “Tiny” with us. ♥️

This place was amazing! The screened in porch was relaxing. The bed/pillows were very comfortable. The hosts thought of everything for this property. Excellent communication as well. I would highly recommend staying here. The only thing I would note is, the tv is streaming only, so if you're technology stubborn like me, take books to read as you won't be able to watch tv.
