Wonderful stay, everything we needed was available. Well kept and clean. Attentive property hostess who was able to answer all questions pertaining to the area.
Such a great stay! The house and property is quint and tidy. The host is very sweet and accommodating. We are repeat customers and will definitely be staying again next year!
This cottage was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed it very much. It was very convenient to the family members we visited. Alta was very nice and the information she provided about nearby restaurants and things to do.
What a nice place to stay! Nice and clean and she had things like salt & pepper, some spices and foil, plastic wrap! Lots of details that you might forget! Pot and pans glasses, cups ...Would stay again if we are that way again!
We spent a week at this property. It is a very cozy home, extremely clean, and well appointed. It is on very pretty acreage, and is conveniently located on the main road. Alta was a wonderful, gracious host. This was the perfect balance for a nice experience and a good value. Would definitely stay again if we need a place on the area. Highly recommend.
I couldn't have been happier with the house. It was perfect for me and my son and two 18-year-old granddaughters. The porch was perfect to set on early in the morning with a cup of tea.
Clean. Accessible to places we wanted to visit: Machias, Lubec, Eastport, Campobello, Jonesport. Great host with good recommendations. Flowers were a nice touch. Alta obviously has a lot of pride in her property. Nice to hear history of the property and her plans for future renovations.
This is a quaint home that is so clean. We had everything we needed. The first morning there we had two small bucks come to visit. Saw them often and also a big doe. The place is very peaceful and comfortable and we were able to ride our side by side to the trail from there. Highly recommended!!

We want to thank you so very much for staying at our rental home and leaving it immaculate when you left. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and you are more than welcome to come back anytime. Thank you again.
Every thing we needed . The appliances were new. One floor living and easy patio from the kitchen. I loved the yard and all the birds. Road noise is just part of life.

Perfect in all aspects. Beats staying at a motel and I highly recommend this property. Nice cozy little home. Three bedrooms and a bath. Full kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove and many pots pans cooking and dining needs. Has some spices available sugar coffee and other to accommodate your stay. Beds comfortable and plenty of pillows and blankets available. Washing machine nice to get yourself reset with clean clothes. One TV in living room adequate for use. Only knock was WiFi not the best, doesn’t appear this area has any sort of broadband service available but it worked with the Roku device provided. Just be sure you have your provider passwords and such. So yes overall this is a perfect place to stay. I met Toby and he was very nice, informative of the surrounding area and accommodating. Thank you and my father loved this place.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alta‘s clean home. Our sole purpose was to enjoy the sunrise trail. And some beaches. So the location was perfect.
Sweet Alta was always just a phone call away if needed ! But we wanted for nothing. Everything we needed.. was right there.💕
This was a very clean, comfortable little house with very friendly hosts!! We slept very well and it was the perfect location to see and do things while staying out of the big city. There is a beach nearby and in town is a good grocery store and two restaurants with great food and service. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the area and can answer any question you might have. Great stay!!
Great location to visit the bold coast region of Maine. The rental was clean and comfortable, perfect for our family of 5. Owner met us at check in to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay.
We had a great time riding the trails on our SXS we could ride right from the house.
There was an unbelievable cool breeze every single night. The house is spotless when we got there.
The owner is wonderful! Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner! We'll definitely be back!
