AMAZING!
We stayed at the treehouse for the eclipse and what an AMAZING experiences that was! The treehouse is everything you could ever want with AC, running water, a kitchen, plus chair style hammocks on the balcony. Our kids loved all the places to explore: pirate ships, buddha, a mine, bridges, the lake. Wow!

A Hidden GEM!
We had the most wonderful time staying in the treehouse and exploring the property!! The treehouse is impressive - every surface is beautifully finished with quality materials. It was comfortable and we had enough space to cook and lounge. The bathroom was very nicely done! The property was INCREDIBLE! What an amazing setting in which to make memories! Our children, ages 6 and 9, had the best time following the provided map, canooing in the lagoon, swinging by the lake, using the ferry, catching tad poles, closing the draw bridge, and exploring the fort and pirate ships. Even us parents enjoyed exploring the trails and structures. We heard, "I wish we lived here!" more than a few times 😅. The owners are absolutely lovely! I'm so glad we decided to visit - especially in April. The weather was perfection!

Veda and Henry have lived on 250 acres for over fifty years. They have developed the property planting many varieties of bamboo and all sorts of tropical plants that will live in Arkansas' climate. There are over 100 palm trees of differing sizes to set the tone of the tropics.
Veda owned and operated a public opinion research business and Henry was an attorney and served as elected Prosecuting Attorney for the Ninth Judicial District of Arkansas for the last 14 years of his practice.

Both Veda and Henry enjoy traveling the world. Many of the attractions on the property are as a result of the influence of the places that they have visited.

They have created a New Orleans courtyard with a French Quarter building so guest may sit and sip wine or drink coffee. There is a replica of a Buddhist Lost Temple located in the jungle gardens of the Treehouse copied from one seen by the couple in Cambodia.. Guests will find a life size pioneer fort of the Revolutionary War Period on a lake within the 250 tract of timberland. Much of the landscape is fashioned from their observations during travels to the Islands of the Caribbean, the Andaman Sea, Central America and Hawaii.

Veda and Henry enjoy sharing the experience and adventure of their life's work with the guests who come to visit the Toucan Treehouse

Why they chose this property

This treehouse in itself is magical. However kids of all ages and adults will also enjoy the variety of activities and attractions available on the entire 250 acre tract.

The setting immediately below the treehouse is a seven acre tropical garden spot with lagoons and islands. The gardens can be explored by the adventuresome by means of kayaks or by crossing over suspension bridges to find an abandoned lost temple, or an overwater cabana. . All are right under the Treehouse. Waterfalls are everywhere. Bamboo jungles interspersed with tropical vegetation and neat trails throughout this garden create a maze in a paradise.

The lake below is full of all varieties of native fish for the angler's challenge.

There is a sandy beach on the lake for sunning, relaxing, swimming and just reading a good book.

This is a marvelous get-a-way spot located in the middle of a private, mature Arkansas forest boasting five miles of hiking and nature trails to keep the active guest busy soaking up the great outdoors.

The Peter Pan in any kid would feel right at home discovering an Indian village, boarding life sized pirate ships, exploring Blackbeard's cave, visiting and playing in two forts on the property and many more attractions to inspire an undiscovered imagination.

In summary you will enjoy a unique and comfortable treehouse retreat while living in a theme park experience.
