We had a wonderful stay at Riverbend Lodge. They have so many fun activities for the whole family. The view of the river is great, the wrap around porch is so nice and we plan to return during the summer!

Cabin on the Oauchita River

The place is excellent for large groups and the setting is idyllic. Access was good from the Hiway. Directions to the cabin were a tad unclear, but Lorri walked us thru that when we called her. Overall, we hope to be able to stay here again when in the area.

Great Family Getaway!

The cabin was better than it looks in the photos. We had a great weekend! The kitchen is stocked with more than you’ll ever need. Everything was clean and extra linens and blankets were great. It’s so close to Caddo Valley and Arkadelphia, so easy to get to restaurants, stores, Arkadelphia Aquatic Park and not far from Arkadelphia Youth Sports Complex! We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

What a GREAT getaway Lodge!

This property was far, far more than we expected! If you love interior (and exterior) decorating, you will love this home. Every day of our rental, we found so many nice touches and treasured bits from the past, like the 1920's era telephone, or the vintage tin advertising signs. The view of the Ouachita River was stunning. Our family enjoyed playing billiards, corn hole, horse shoes and darts (all provided). We made s'mores over the open pit fire and even found telescoping forks to roast the marshmallows on! This property is light years from most vacation rentals. The whole experience transports you back to 1920's era hunting and fishing lodge! We're allready planning to return next year!

Relaxation Station!

The property is AMAZING!! The wrap around porch with both enclosed and open options was so nice and made for wonderful morning & afternoon hangouts. The property had badmitten, horse shoes (with night lighting) corn holes and a fire pit with an abundance of seating! The yard was huge and made for great soccer and football games. Indoors was just as fabulous space wise and amenities. The kids loved the hidden room! The only drawback was a flooded river making fishing for anyone other than my husband and son impossible. We would also suggest updated linens for the beds and a deep clean of the soft top couch. We came to relax, fish, and mine diamonds and were not disappointed!

Transported back in time to a 1920's Hunting & Fishing Lodge

This property takes you back to the 1920's, when wealthy individuals owned a hunting & fishing lodge in the woods. Large amounts of time were spent, searching out period correct memorabilia to decorate the lodge, adding greatly to the ambiance of the property. Each day we discovered new unique items, like tin advertising signs from that period, or an antique 1920's telephone.Our family spent hours playing billiards, darts, horseshoes and corn hole, all provided with the property. We even found telescoping forks, which we used to make s'mores on the open pit fireplace. We brought many things with us, which we didn't need, because they were already supplied with the rental. This is an outstanding vacation getaway, where you can get untethered from your electronic leashes, go back in time over a century and experience a much more peaceful, simpler lifestyle (and still have air conditioning and a fully equipped, modern kitchen). This rental is light years better than any cookie cutter hotel room. Our extended family all raved about it so much that we're planning to return next year. Highly recommended!!!
