Fold-up twin bed available for use on either floor. All new large kitchen- great for family cooking, new appliances. Dining table for 8 plus seating for up to 7 at counter in same area. New furnishings throughout, plus games, books and foosball table! 3 full baths (2 on 2nd floor, 1 on 1st). Another great stay!

This was our 3rd or 4th time here. Great location - 1 minute walk to the pier, Weirs beach, etc.. which the kids love. Plenty of space for everyone, big cozy kitchen and living room area. The perfect family getaway spot.

Perfect Vacation Home

The house is very spacious and inviting. It is much better than the photos can do justice. The location is perfect to just walk out the door and you are right on the boardwalk. There are arcades, food, boat rentals (or tours), ice cream, bars, and even live music practically within arms reach. The beach is a quick walk. You can see it from the upstairs bedroom window (we watched the 4th of July fireworks that are done on the beach from the bedroom with a great view). The yard is spacious enough for the kids (and adults) to play a wiffle ball game, or soccer, while also having a separate space to sit around a campfire and relax (and that is not even to mention the great deck with a grill). I highly recommend this vacation house! Thank you to the owners who were very responsive and accomodating!

Great Place and Host!

Our group had a great time at this property! The house was clean, spacious, and had a nice open floor plan so everyone in our group could interact with one another. Great stay and overall experience

House was well-equipped, communication with owners was excellent, and we had a great stay. If you want to be in downtown Weirs Beach this is the place to stay as it is literally a 3min walk to get to arcade area and eateries, or perhaps a 10min walk to the beach. Thank you!

This was our friend group’s first time in the area and this property is the exact place you want to stay. Walking distance from everything you could want out of Weirs beach, spacious/cozy/clean house, and the host was accommodating and so incredibly kind! Our stay was wonderful. Christine is the perfect hostess, responsive, accommodating and above all prepared! Anything you may need is available. She even gave excellent suggestion for the area on where to eat and what to do! Hit up zip lining at Gunstock nearby, the kids loved it!

We had a great time in the Weirs Beach area. This home was only 15 mins from Gunstock and close to several restaurants & shops. Our family of 4 had more than enough room to spread out. We'd love to come back in the summer - the home is so close to Weirs Beach and would make for a great summer vacation.

The house was amazing! There were so many included details that helped make our stay incredible- the wagon, the fire pit, the foosball table! The first thing everyone said when they walked in was how great the house was and how impressed they were that I found it! Charming older, very clean and well equipped home. You can always tell when an owner is thoughtful about the guest experience - this is definitely one of those owners! Literally right around the corner from all that Weirs Beach has to offer. My teens and their friends had a blast hanging out at the beach, arcades, pier, etc...

Awesome!

We had a great time. The location is perfect for the Weirs experience. Very close to all the lakeside activities. The house is very nice and we had fun playing foosball and games while we weren’t at the beach. The host was great to deal with and they also have a house next door we rented which is very nice as well. Highly recommended if you’re going to Winnepausakee!

Great location and lots of character!

The house is very nicely updated downstairs. A good set-up with plenty of space for small groups. Great location, right near Weirs Beach! The hosts and manager of the property are both extremely communicative and fast to respond to any messages. The bathrooms and heating system could use some updating. Great Place for a Winter Weekend

Working with the property owner and manager was smooth and easy. They were friendly and prompt with communication in the weeks leading up to and during our stay. There is ample space to keep skis/snowboards and the open layout on the first floor is great for larger groups. We were able to walk to some bars/restaurants. It’s also a close drive to grocery stores. For those who prefer firm mattresses, the selection of beds was limiting, but I was able to find a comfortable one. We would definitely stay here again and check it out for a summer trip!

Charming Home, Great Location

Loved our stay at Christine and Wade's home in Weirs Beach. The home is just as pictured. They did an amazing job restoring and modernizing it. It has a great layout, updated kitchen that is great to cook in, stocked with everything you need, and can't beat the location. It's a quick walk to the beach and boardwalk and has a perfect yard for a fire pit or a game of wiffle ball or frisbee. Traveled with four teenage girls who enjoyed the space and location also. Quick drive to get to Shaws to pick up food and a great brewery in Meredith called Twin Barns. It was our first time visiting Lake Winnipesaukee and we are so glad this was our home base for our stay.

Ski weekend

We had a great stay at Christine’s place. Her home has a great downstairs common area with an open layout that is so nice for cooking and hanging out with friends. Communication was great and Christine went out of her way to return a watch that was left behind by someone in our party. Only complaint is that the heating was very uneven, with one bedroom being very hot and another very cold (and only one thermostat control for the home).

Why they chose this property

When we first walked the area around this house we loved the quaint cottages. We easily made our way to the beautiful lake, sat on the boardwalk, and saw all sorts of activity in town. This house had a comforting feel to it inside, a large yard and "barn". It was on a street that was just a touch away from the main activities. We could still hear the local music playing in the backyard! It was all so enjoyable. We were new to reno work, so we dove in and started to update this 1940's cottage to keep the charm, but to make it new again. At one point it had been converted to a duplex and we wanted to revert it to the original floor plan. We now have photos in a booklet at the house depicting some of the undertakings that we did and finding nice surprises of gorgeous original fir and oak floors!
