We have resided in NYC for the past 27+ years, the other half of our life was spent moving globally, so clearly travel is important to us.
My boyfriend (of a very very long time) and I are both creative people that like to experience different cultures, music, and the arts in general.
We are both very considerate and kind people.
I am a creative director in the home industry. The home is very important to me, and hence I respect the homes of others as well.

Why they chose this property

Our cottage is unique to the area, as it has historical significance as one of the few remaining original cedar cottages. At once it was a rum-runner during the prohibition! Springs is a hamlet of East Hampton. Its is now a very popular neighborhood for it's relaxed artist community, the Maidstone Park Beach and great restaurants. Springs is surrounded by many other gorgeous bays. The Maidstone Park/Bay is the closest to the cottage, a short walk or bike ride away. A beautiful beach for swimming (has a section with a lifeguards), kayaking, paddle boarding, running/walking/biking, and gorgeous sunsets. We have a beach wagon to transport all beach gear if walking to the beach. Also nearby are Harbor & Marina views on Three Mile Harbor rd. *Parking at most beaches & bays are by permit only, but you can park where ever there are no signs and it is still close to the beach.

What makes this property unique

We have been told that our house is the second oldest house in "The Springs". It used be a rum-runner's home during Prohibition!
AND DeKooning's first art studio was next door to us!
Walking distance to Maidstone Beach!
