Heather and I are extremely excited to extend an invitation for your family to enjoy an amazing getaway at our Dream Resort Lodge style Lake House.

HD Cedar Creek Lake Lodge - perfect for large family and lots of friends. Features vaulted Great Room with wood beams and a stone floor to ceiling Fireplace as focal point. Outdoors: screened porch with Fireplace and outdoor chef's kitchen with serving bar, refrigerator drawers, built in cooler, sink, gas grill, sink, 2 cooktop burners, seating and Fireplace. Waterside, ground-floor Master with 2-sided Fireplace to master bath with claw-footed tub, twin vanities, shower and walk-in closet. Kitchen is large with adjacent dining area and stairwell wet bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, and common small appliances. Upstairs: 2 private bedrooms and a Bunk Room with private bathroom, fireplace, wood beams, TV, and balcony entry. Waterside: paved area spans 150' waterside for lounging and entertaining. Use our Jet Ski drive on wave port docking station for 2 - Jet Skis. Bring your own jet ski. If bringing a boat contact us for slip details at the Marina that is less than 5 minutes away! Boat Dock has a upper level Party Deck. This property is Gated with 2-story porte-cochere entry on 2 lots enclosing .75 of an acre.

Happy New Year 2024

This was our 2nd New Years Eve stay at the lake..and we had so much fun! This lake house is amazing...everything we need for a fabulous time with family. The house has plenty of rooms for everyone to sleep, the kitchen is huge for multiple cooks and eating. But the best part of the house is the outside. The weather could not have been better...we hung out and played games and watched football! Love Heather...perfect hostess! Thanks for sharing your home.

Family of four (2 adults, 6 & 8) spent Columbus Day weekend at the lake. Perfect weather (granted water levels low) for being on the water, bike rising, grilling, fire pit, football, music and laughs. Plenty of space with a wonderful host in Heather. Thank You

Great House! Great Hosts!

What a fantastic property for an extended family gathering! The covered outdoor area is fabulous as is the spacious front yard with lots of room for games. Darrel and Heather's communication was responsive and prompt. Yes, we were a little concerned with what seemed pretty hard line "rules" (and we probably called/texted too much for fear we'd do something wrong), but as the long weekend went on, it was all fine and good. And we get it: this is a family's vacation home, not something that's owned by a faceless corporation. And the bright side of that is that everything you need is there, and the owners did a great job of responding to our needs. We hadn't realized from the photos or description (and maybe it's there and we just didn't read it), but do know that to leave the large "bunk room," unless you go down the outside spiral staircase, you have to walk through one of the bedrooms. It worked out fine for us, but it could be awkward depending on your group (and the weather). On the bright side -- the bedroom that is walked through has direct access to a bathroom. :)

Fellowship Time

Hosts from the first communication to the last were so helpful and kind. The house came very well stocked for practical living for example: Bug spray, brooms, blower, extended dusters for webs for the outside because let’s face it, those creepy crawlers are gonna show up. Inside access to cleaning supplies and there was nothing we needed that we couldn’t find and we cooked every meal. Very open space with sturdy comfortable furniture! 10 adults had plenty of space to gather and get away for some quiet time. The patios were great. Outdoor cooking was set up amazingly. We did not use the outdoor spaces as much as I would have liked to due to heat, so we would love to enjoy it in the cooler months and see the fireplaces going. Master bedroom was amazing, upstairs King room was nice. The only thing I would want people to know is the only way into the bunk room ( which is amazing) from inside is through the other queen bedroom, thankfully we were all close friends who didn’t mind because we were too old to walk the spiral staircase from outside, plus the spiders liked them ;) We had the best time on the lake until we didn’t;) water was glass 5 out of 6 days perfect for waverunners and boat….on our last full day we took on water but made it out safe and sound!!! Our host was gracious to allow us to use his slip as the water was too low to use the boat lift . The big driveway was awesome and the shade on these record breaking days of heat were appreciated!!!

Family Vacation

We rented this home for our annual family get together that is growing with more spouses and grandkids being born each year. This house had everything we need. The volleyball court, ping pong table, and basketball goal kept everyone busy and happy. Bucket list goal: family game night. We played volleyball and a few board games as a family. It was such a wonderful time. Quiet and restful.

Why they chose this property

Heather and I both had a dream of purchasing a Lake House and have been looking for the perfect house over the last Six Years. Our family has enjoyed Cedar Creek Lake at a family friends house since purchasing our boat is 2013. The listing for the Lodge popped up in a search one morning and Heather quickly sent it to me. We had to wait 6 days before we could view the property. The entire family went with us on Sunday. We literally wrote the offer at the kitchen table within 5 mins of being in the house. I am a guy that cannot sit still very long and my dream was to own a property that offers more than just being on the lake. We found that with this home.
My first observation was how private this place feels with the house sitting lower than street level and operable gates at both ends of the circle driveway.

2nd was how much parking there is around the circle driveway. Parking is not always easy at the lake for multiple vehicles. This driveway is just perfect for our family.

3rd is how beautiful the setting is with large trees and landscaped yard. You feel like you are at your own resort and beauty surrounds you everywhere you turn.

4th is how many different activities' there are to do outside of being on the lake.

*More sitting areas than you can use!!
*Pick your spot for morning coffee and listen to mother natures beauty.

What makes this property unique

The only problem with lodging at HD Resort is that your not going to want to leave!!
