Welcome to Tanglewood and the perfect spot for a lakeside getaway! This spacious home is recently updated. With five bedrooms and four bathrooms, it also has bonus sleeping spaces with nine single futons. Comfortably sleeping 20 guests, the property was made for your large family to gather for fun in the sun on the lake! With a new roof and air conditioner, your family is sure to enjoy this home in an abundance of comfort! The home features a fully stocked kitchen with all the amenities of home. And the game room is a natural gathering spot after a day on the lake! Featuring a pool table, arcade and darts, the friendly competition will keep you entertained for hours. A convenient kitchenette next to the game room is ideal for midnight snacks and drinks. The spacious living room features a wall of windows, exposed beams, a stone wood-burning fireplace, a comfortable sectional sofa and a second sofa with attached ottoman. The large dining table seats 10 adults easily. The breakfast table and bar combined seat an additional eight people.
As inviting as the house is, head outside for the highlights of this property! The home features a large, screened porch with space for comfortable outdoor eating, as well as relaxing in the hammock and different seating areas. Enjoy the lake with the gorgeous views from there or the expansive deck upstairs. This area also features another outdoor dining area with a propane grill, another hammock and outdoor seating.

Great location

Nice property with lots of accommodations for adults and kids. Love all the items they have for the lake, kayaks, large float, life vests, fishing poles, boat dock. Kids enjoyed the pool table

Beautiful Weekend at the Lake

This is a very nice property! There was room for everyone to spread out. We especially enjoyed sunset and sunrise from the balcony. We were blessed with a beautiful weekend. Morgan was very responsive to any need. The property itself was very well stocked. It was a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Respite

Rented this location for our family reunion. Beautiful home, great location! Communication with the owner was exceptional!! There is a perfect swimming area next to the boat dock where the kids could swim and we adults could sit in the shade and still watch them from the dock. The house had everything we could need for cooking and everything is perfectly labeled with check out instructions easily available when we were ready to leave. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Best first time experience!

It was a relaxing and amazing time! The house was very spacious for the kids and had many activities to do inside from the rain and the owner was very generous to help us with moving the boat so we can dock our boat and the house was fully stocked. I had a great time and my family did too. I would definitely be back and recommend this property to friends and family.

Lake house review

The house works great for a big group but is bit exaggerated on its sleeping space. Many of the listed spaces are actually just fold out chairs, not even futons. These are not functional for a normal adult to sleep on and very uncomfortable. Check in process is very easy and there is plenty of parking for a big group.

Long awaited family get together.

Excellent location and property was well stocked with all utensils and needed items. We had some trouble with WiFi and internet working at night and the second floor shower leaked when being used. Overall the property was really nice and our grandkids and adult kids had a blast. A much needed retreat after a long year. Thank you

Great experience

Every year my cousins and I have a reunion weekend. This year there were a total of 20 people. There was more than enough room for all of us and tons of fun to be had at this property. The property manager was very quick to respond to any questions with great detail, even going as far to call and discuss some things to make sure that everything worked out just how we needed it to. We look forward to hopefully renting from them again in the future.

15yo birthday lake celebration with friends and family.

If I could give Morgan and Kyle (the manager and host) 6 stars, I would. They were so kind helping me even before we got there with allowing me to change the date, not once but twice. Just so friendly. The house is great! We had 10 boys (14yo) and 7 adults for a bday weekend just this weekend and another large family vacation here a few years ago too. We had a great time both times. Nice location on the water too. The basement has a master bedroom with bathroom and there’s a game room attached. With 10 boys age 14, this was a perfect hangout. They stay up late and play pool, darts and go out and fish on the dock right out the back door of the basement. The parents on main floor and second floor aren’t disturbed and get great rest. Coffee on the covered balcony in the morning… and on and on. Check it out, you’ll LOVE it!

Wonderful stay….

We had a wonderful time at this home for our daughter’s 20th birthday. Luckily we had understanding guests when it came to sleeping arrangements. The Cons: 1. I had previously read some reviews about the futons not being ideal and thought it was just perspective. However, the futons were definitely not usable for sleeping…When laid out they are maybe 3 inches off the ground. So those were eliminated as options. The king size bed off of the game room, has a low spot in the left side so makes for an interesting sleeping arrangements. 2. Parking - plan ahead! The driveway is long and narrow that ends in a ball shaped spot. The owner had communicated about boat parking so we were prepared for that. However, we had to be strategic in parking for those staying and those only there for the day. Pros: 1. Well furnished! We had everything we needed to cook with and more! 2. Plenty of water toys! 3. Great pier and dock!

A few big misses

First, let me start with the positives: 1. The kitchen is very well equipped, the best I have seen in all my VRBO stays. Everything you need is there and then some 2. The property manager, Morgan, is outstanding. Very prompt, pleasant to work with, accommodating. Without him, the rating would have been a 1/5 .He allowed us to check-out 2 hours late (though the default check-out time of 10 AM is a bit excessive), gave us a discount on the cleaning fees due to the condition of the house, when we came in (more details below). Overall, the owners are lucky to have such a nice property manager Misses: 1. The house was not clean. Doesn't look the house was properly cleaned after the last occupants left. The living room was not swept properly, the kitchen floor was sticky and worst of all, we found some used underwear and clothes from prior occupants lying around in the bedrooms. After complaining, the property manager arranged for light cleaning while we were there, but this is something that should have been taken care of. If I cannot trust that used clothing had not been removed, I have to wonder what else was not cleaned properly. The property manager gave a discount on the cleaning fees, but still a big miss 2. The house looks smaller than what it looks like in the pictures. Also the number of beds was accurate, but the way they were arranged does not leave room for privacy if there are more adults than kids. Also the living room is over-crowded with a lot of stuff which leaves very little room for movement 3. The pricing was a bit too high, esp given the size and condition of the house. I would have expected the house to be more polished for such a price. This property has definitely aged quite a bit

The kitchen was full of spices. The best supplied kitchen for cooking and baking we have everd had. And we have been renting vrbos for 20 years. Lake toy were a big hit. As was the fire pit.We all had a great time, plenty of room.

Cedar Creek Trip

Awesome lake property

The house was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of room inside and out so everybody wasn’t on too of each other. Great game room and kitchen, and the fishong at the dock was fantastic.

Fun Vacation House

Clean and well-appointed property. We had a large group, but there were plenty of towels, lots of silverware and cookware, toilet paper, etc., which isn't always the case for a large rental. We also had multiple cars (7) and boat trailers, and the parking situation was excellent. The cleanliness was beyond reproach, which is again one of our most important qualifications for a rental. This is definitely a five-star rental; however, there are a couple of things to note. Poison ivy is growing all around the hot tub area and needs to remedied quickly, as some of our crew had allergic reactions. Also, we planned to put our four teenagers on the futons listed in the game room. We were unable to comfortably sleep the four boys, who are all about 6 ft tall, on the chair-futons, so they ended up on the couches and bunking with some of the adults. I would call the futons best for little children. Nevertheless, we would definitely stay here again and were quite satisfied overall with the experience. Thank you to the owners and the host!

I rent the lake house when I am away so that others can enjoy it when I can't.

Why they chose this property

We have been renting vacation rentals for many years ourselves and this property gives us so much of what we love about vacation rentals - the views, the sounds and the character of the home.

What makes this property unique

The 180+ degree views of the water! The gorgeous large kitchen and the water views really captured us, but overall this home has so much to offer our family.
