85 sqm/915 sqfoot renovated and carefully decorated, a 2 floors private Loft in a Colonial house of Quito´s historic center. From the private terrace you will have unbeatable views over the city historic center with its beautiful churches while preparing BBQ.
You will experience a 85 m2, two level private loft in a colonial house of Quito´s historic center with a magnificent view of the entire city and a big terrace with a BBQ.

The Loft is very spacious and full of light, equiped with everything you need. Clean bathroom with hot water, kitchen/stove, comfort bedding.

On the first level you will find 2 separate spaces (a fully furnished kitchen with the eating space and in the second one a confortable living room). Located upstairs with a view to the old town, you will find the bedrooms, bathroom/shower with a modern design and a work desk with proper lighting place. In all the spaces you can enjoy High-speed internet to be connectes anytime.

A few hops away from the the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Basilica Church, presidential Palace as well as La Ronda and a number of other sights, churches and museums in Quito´s old town.


The neighborhood is a very safe place, in the Historic Center, in the area there are several restaurants, supermarkets, food market, pharmacies, all basic necessities. For those visiting for pleasure, this location is ideal as the apartment is located in the heart of the city so it will be very easy to get around.

Our House is an unconventional dream that becomes a paradigm-shifting reality, an example of sustainable living & construction with the design of our friends from Alborde Architects.

Construction of the Acknowledgement winning urban remediation project in the historic center of Quito has participate in the famous Chicago Architecture biennale, and the Venice biennale in 2016. The approach of Al Borde Arquitectos appeared in the largest international survey of contemporary architecture in North America and Europe participating with their project to various international prices.

David Barragán one of the Architects that is on top of the renovation or the house also commented that winning the Holcim Awards Acknowledgement prize had created enormous visibility for the project, and the ongoing work of Al Borde. The project and its approach to sustainable design is also featured in La Ville Rebelle: démocratiser le Projet Urbain = The Rebel City: How to Democratize Urban Planning (Gallimard Collection Manifesto, 2015).
