Fern Hollow Cottage, our first Blue Dresden property, was created from our desire to provide guests with an exceptional mountain retreat. We designed the home specifically to accommodate two families traveling together, extended families, or small groups of friends who want to experience the beauty and charm of Western North Carolina’s Cashiers–Highlands Plateau.

This area offers a rare combination of peaceful mountain surroundings and endless outdoor activities. From pristine lakes and breathtaking waterfalls to scenic hiking trails and cool mountain temperatures year-round, the region provides an ideal setting to relax, explore, and reconnect with nature. Guests also enjoy access to the outstanding amenities offered through the Sapphire Valley Resort, along with everything the surrounding Jackson County area has to offer.
