Let's get away from it all and catch some sunshine at THE DUNES 407. THIS SPOT IS SWEET!! This is the perfect location to enjoy everything Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan has to offer! This updated one bedroom, two full bath condo, has hall bunks and is located close to Fort Morgan. Take a break and fall in love with our beautiful, stretch of beach.

THE SPACE: This condo is fully furnished with everything you need for your vacation. The fully stocked kitchen has full size appliances, all dining accessories, a regular coffee pot and a Keurig coffee maker. The dining table has seating for 4 and there is seating at the bar for 3. The condo comfortably sleeps 6. The living room has a sofa (with a full sleeper), comfortable seating and a flat screen TV and DVD player. Enjoy the furniture on your private balcony and relax while taking in the fantastic view of the Gulf. You will not be disappointed! The master bedroom has a king bed and a full-size bath with a tub/shower combo, along with a flat screen TV and DVD player. Hall bunks are perfect for the kids and are conveniently located across from the guest full bath which also has a tub/shower combo. For your convenience, the condo has a full-size washer/dryer, free WIFI and a landline located in the unit. Both bathrooms have a handicap grab bar located right outside the shower. You will love the keyless entry, no need to worry about keys!

THE PROPERTY: Take all your gear and head out to the white sandy beach. Although not gulf front, you only have a short walk (300 yards, 5 minutes) on a paved sidewalk to the community boardwalk which leads to the beach. Spend you day in the water, collecting seashells and building sandcastles. Or just lay out and spend the day relaxing and taking in the beauty of this secluded stretch of beach! In season, vendors are available to rent chairs and umbrellas but feel free to bring your own beach items. All items brought to the beach must be removed daily. If you are in the mood to grill, bring your charcoal and feel free to use the first come/first serve outdoor BBQ grills and remember to clean for the next guest after use. Tired of the sand? Hang out at the wonderful pool which features a swim through to the indoor pool. Lounge chairs are available to relax in around the pool. Soothe those sore muscles in the hot tub located near the indoor pool. There is an outdoor shower available to wash sand away. If fitness is important, check out our workout facility. Paid parking is available for two vehicles. There are security cameras onsite located in the public areas of the property. No oversized vehicles, trailers, boats, personal watercraft, campers or motor homes are not allowed.

THE AREA: Take the time to visit and tour historic Fort Morgan. You are located across the street from Fort Morgan Marina and Tacky Jack's restaurant. Sassy Bass restaurant at Gulf Shores Plantation and restaurants are available at nearby Beach Club. There are two championship golf courses within a fifteen-minute drive. Enjoy shopping at Tanger Mall Outlet stores in Foley or take in a movie at the theatre in Gulf shores. The Wharf in Orange Beach has wonderful shopping, restaurants, concerts and the AMC 15 Movie Theater. Take an afternoon and catch a thrill on the rides at the new OWA Amusement Park. Other local activities and attractions in Gulf Shores include mini golf, a go-kart track, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo and Waterville USA waterpark! Drive to Pensacola and tour the Naval Air Museum or plan to watch the Blue Angels. Visit the Gulf Shores State Park for bike riding and nature watching, swim in the gulf, go charter fishing, jet skiing, or take in a dolphin cruise. You are also down the street from The Pines convenience store with great pizza, coffee and a restaurant. This area has so much to offer and why stay in a small hotel? Stay in this wonderful condo and pinch yourself with the money you will be saving :)

Our stay was amazing no issues at all. We were able to watch fireworks from our balcony which was a plus. The walk to be beach was very short and my kids enjoyed the pool so much.

Serene weekend beach stay

This is a great property at a very reasonable price. Beautiful views of the gulf with a nice sized balcony. Everything in the condo seems new and updated. I love Fort Morgan because you are away from the crowds, but still have access to a beautiful beach. The beach is a short walk or a quick drive down to the board walk entrance, and it is nice to have a pool also on the property. Perfect place for a family with 2 kids. We will be back! We had no issues accessing the property or dealing with the property manager.

The stay was wonderful. I would do away with the foam mattress. Had to remove it during stay; very uncomfortable. Replace the toaster; one side burns faster than the other side. So many remote controls for tv. Hope to return to this area. Loved the more relaxing atmosphere of Fort Morgan.

Beautiful property

We had a great time at this condo. The 1st time we had ever been to fort morgan. My kids loved the pool. Paint was flaking off into the hot tube and I would have to say if it was a busy summer day there would not be enough chairs around the pool. I would hope in the future the facility would purchase more seating. The door locking system seemed to be updated but there was no latch or dead bolt. Having younger kids I would have felt more comfortable having another latch than the electronic device keeping the door locked. The condo was clean the kids had a blast in the bunk beds.

Perfection!

Our family of 3 ENJOYED our stay in The Dunes, W 407! We took the ferry from Dauphin Island into Fort Morgan. My daughter loved the ferry ride! When we entered the condo, it was beautifully updated, cool and very clean! Every morning we enjoyed our coffee on the patio and listened to the ocean. Even though the condo is not directly on the beach, you still have a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach was a very short walk and our condo provided a beach cart we used to take our chairs and umbrella to the beach! The beach wasn't overly crowded. The water was beautiful. We loved how close Tacky Jacks and Sassy Bass (two AMAZING restaurants) were to the property. We can't wait to stay here again!!

We loved our stay! The condo is in pristine condition and very comfortable. The beds are nice and the kitchen is well stocked. The owners have provided several items that aren’t always provided when renting. Our favorite part of our stay is the sunset view! Our whole family would sit on the balcony enjoying the view while having great conversation! It was just what we needed, and we will definitely be back!

My husband I needed rest and this beautiful location and condo provided just what we needed. Beautiful Condo just 3 minute walk from the beach and still able to enjoy the beach view from the balcony. The Dunes

We enjoyed our stay at the Dunes. Location was very private away from the crowds of gulf shores. We loved the condo it was clean and decorated beautifully. Codes and instructions were easy to find and follow. I didn't have to contact anyone during our trip because Everything was explained in one email. We have never stayed in a condo that was so clean and well stocked! A Kitchen Aid coffee maker and Keurig, blender, pots and pans, smart TVs, alarm clock, beach buggy and more!! The decor is gorgeous and you feel at peace as soon as you walk in, the pool is nice and the area is quiet. Even the hallway bunks have a curtain for privacy! Be sure to read the guest book for eating recommendations. Please note there is a walk to the beach, my Mom had a hard time with the distance. Also this is all the way down at Fort Morgan so it’s 20 minutes into town. However if you’re looking for a costal escape from everything this place is it!

Perfect Fall Weekend

This was our fourth or fifth time staying in this condo. The weather was perfect, and we really enjoyed our stay- as usual! We loved the updates and the noise machine in the bedroom was fantastic for sleeping! The weekend was peaceful and exactly what we needed.
