Unparalleled Views

Overall, we had a great experience. The cabin was perched high on the mountain to capture an incredible view. The only critique I have is that the cabin could use a little more deep cleaning. A lot of corners and around furniture had dust visible. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin for anyone looking for the mountaintop experience

The Hills Are Alive

Had a really wonderful stay at the house. If you want to be away from it all but still be close to things this is the place. The view from the house is absolutely stunning and awe inspiring. Coming from the city I loved being able to look through floor to ceiling windows and see the vast expanse of mountains and clouds. The house is super comfortable, clean and fully equipped. There's even cell service at that altitude! If you go in the winter I would recommend four wheel drive. The challenging narrow gravel road winding up mountain was slippery for us after a few inches of snow. Hiking up the mountain to the trail behind the house was also quite invigorating and picturesque. I admit I couldn't resist playing the song The Hills Are Alive from the Sound of Music when I was at the top because it was just THAT appropriate! To be away from it all but not roughing it is the perfect escape.

A wonderful secluded slice of heaven.

The cabin is beautifully designed with care. Perched on top a mountain there are long range views from almost every room the light and air felt as if we were in the tree tops. Listening to dawn and dusk. We enjoyed doing yoga on the deck and walking on the trail above the house. The library in the house was also awesome. A truly magical space. The five of us included two toddlers and a dog Thanks!
